Location meravigliosa, il casale è molto grande e le camere sono spaziose. Eravamo quattro famiglie con bambini e abbiamo potuto apprezzare gli spazi all’aperto e la piscina d’acqua salata. La casa è abbastanza fresca e le camere sono tutte dotate di ventilatori.Cucina attrezzata e già fornita di attrezzature e ingredienti di base per poter cucinare, con BBQ e due grandi frigoriferi.Rolando e Janis sono sempre pronti a rispondere a qualsiasi richiesta.Consiglio di fare un salto all’atelier di Janis, proprio di fronte alla porta d’ingresso, che produce saponi biologici ottimo.Un’esperienza rilassante nel cuore della bellissima Umbria, a breve distanza in auto da tante attrazioni, città e borghi.

I recently spent a week with my family at Casale degli Olivi. It is an absolutely beautiful house with the most stunning views and everything you could possibly need is there for you. If there weren’t so many interesting places to visit in the area, we would have been very happy simply staying at the house all the time. The owner Rolando could not have been any more helpful and any request prior to our stay, was handled promptly and with great charm. I would thoroughly recommend it for a holiday in Umbria.

We enjoyed 2 wonderful family weeks in this charming farmhouse with its tranquil, relaxing setting in May. Beautiful countryside with stunning views all around. Very helpful and friendly owner, the house is generously well equipped. It is also a perfect starting point to explore Umbria with its many picturesque hilltop towns or nearby Tuscany. Lago di Trasimeno, Perugia or Assisi are also not far away. We will certainly come again.

The house is located on a hill overlooking the beautiful landscape. It perfectly accommodates 3 families with children and has ample space to relax inside or outside. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to other people.

We had a wonderful week at Casals degli Olivi. I couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate my 50th birthday with 10 of our best friends. The Villa is beautiful and well equipped. And the views are stunning. Rolando was an amazing host. He provided lots of great recommendations for towns to visit and restaurants. He also had great lists for Vespa rentals, horse riding, markets & hiking. We highly recommend staying in this beautiful farmhouse villa in Umbria. We look forward to coming back some day!

The house lies on a very scenic hill with rolling vista’s and endless mountains when sitting on the bench in the garden. A beautiful spot with more than enough space for all family members to find their leisure (hammock, swimming pool, shaded patio’s). The kitchen is stocked with every conceivable appliance and is great for family cooking. The hostess shared a handwritten booklet with tips and tricks, and the produce from the farm (woodwork, honey and scented soaps) are sacred treasures. The house is in an eco-sensitive area which is the domain of many insects and bees, so be mindful when booking. It is a place where families can build memories. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend other to follow suit.

Umbria is known as the green heart of Italy, and nowhere does this feel more true than at Casale deli Olivi. This classic, lovingly renovated Umbrian farmhouse is set into a terraced hillside overlooking a verdant valley. We awoke each morning to watch the sunlight creeping over the distant, tree-covered hills, granite rock-faces, and romantic ruins, as it burned off the mist that collected in the valley. The property is surrounded by olive trees, figs, and lavender, which gives off a ravishing perfume and was alive with the buzzing of the honeybees during the idyllic time we spent there this summer. A weary traveller could sit all day on the terrace by the pool watching the swallows dive down to sip the water, or listen to the bells ringing in the small village of San Giovano del Pantano, at the bottom of the hill. The pleasures of Umbria—and the vast artistic and historical wealth of towns like Orvieto, Perugia, and Assisi—were enough to draw us out of the hammock and away from a novel read under the shady canopy of the wisteria, but only just! The house is well-equipped and beautifully furnished with lots of gorgeous art covering the walls. Rolando was very helpful, arranging a catered dinner for us for one evening. Julia (the lady who came to cater) cooked some of the best food we ate during our trip, and was an absolute joy. Rolando was an engaged and helpful host. We are especially grateful to him for deferring our booking throughout the covid-19 pandemic, and we are so glad that after the long wait we were finally able to experience this very special place. We hope one day to return.

Very nice country house in a fantastic location in the hills of Umbria. Fantastic views and very quiet location. Spacious beautiful rooms. The house is very well equipped. Around the house there are many beautiful places. The pool is also fantastic. Excursion destinations such as Assisi, Lago Trasimeno, Perugia can be reached in 30-45 minutes. We can highly recommend this house.
