Masseria la Tofala

We found this beautiful hidden gem as we were looking for an “off the beaten path” holiday in the south of Italy. The Masseria is close to the charming towns of Lecce and Laverno. Rooms are beautiful, spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated, and there’s something romantic about the original historic stone walls and the skylight that allows you to sleep under the stars and moonlight. The host arranged e-bikes for us to explore the area after a delicious breakfast. She was full of useful tips and recommendations for sights and restaurants nearby. Thank you for a magical time!

Ho visto solo una sala perché invitata ad un festa . Sala ampia e comodamente accessibile. Le strade però x raggiungere la masseria sono sterrate strette e piene di buche

Un'esperienza magica. Ogni anno torniamo alla Masseria la Tofala per via del rapporto bellissimo con i proprietari, Raffaella Tozzi e Antonio Suppressa. La piscina, l'idromassaggio. La spa con il muro di sale, la piscina interna nell'antica cisterna d'acqua. Un sogno.. Loro disponibilissimi, la colazione piena di leccornie, i prezzi più bassi della media. A 15 min da lecce e a 10 minuti dal bellissimo mare di sant isidoro.Io lo consiglio a chiunque. In oltre ti viene fornito un itinerario con i posti più belli e i ristoranti consigliati. Oasi di pace, atmosfera rilassante e intima, poche camere arredate con gusto. parco stupendo con ricca vegetazione, bellissima piscina con zona relax. I titolari sono molto gentili e cordiali.Unica nota: Il letto e materasso non erano all’altezza della struttura.

Ottima esperienza. Raffaella una padrona di casa favolosa e così pure il personale, cibo ottimo e location fantastica.

arrived during a heavy storm we were feeling better as soon as the gate opened...Raffaella gave us a very warm welcome in her wonderful property. She took the time to explain everything about the place, the room, the SPA and some other details while resting in the breakfast room with an offered beverage. During our 48h stay we were feeling, my friend and I, like being in a paradise with a true caring person in Raffaella, the owner. The room is new, stylish and very comfy. The breakfast is home made and generous and the surrounding is just amazing with trees, plants, big pool and so quiet. Grazie Mille again for this moment.

What a wonderful place to stay. The property is beautiful - a stunning old set of buildings surrounded by perfect garden and a brilliant pool area. It’s well worth asking for the tour and the history! The room was extremely clean, well appointed, and very cool and comfortable, with an excellent shower. The included breakfast was stunning, and made great allowances for my gluten free vegetarian diet. Loads of choice! The newly finished spa is such a great experience, in one of the oldest parts of the property. A beautiful underground pool, with excellent facilities. Lastly, our hosts were simply wonderful. Full of conversation, so happy to give recommendations, book meals for us, and went so far above and beyond what I would expect. Truly the perfect hosts. A wonderful stay!
