The staff and the climate are very nice, unfortunately the food we tried was not that good. Our entrecotes were overcooked (we ordred medium well, got well done) and the pizzocheri - well, do not order it (pasta with overcooked potatoes and what i think was cabbage and sooooo much chees and butter)

The hotel rooms are very good, I have nothing to complain about them 5/5. But, surprisingly, the restaurant lowers the given stars significantlly. Judging by the previous opinions we were expecting something above average, maybe even extraordinary. What we got was absolutly mediocre at best and overpriced. I ordered mare mare mare(I have eaten many similar ideas aroundItaly- that was the biggest disappointment)-it is supposed to be a soup, but worry not- its just a little tomato sauce in the bottom, no bread given! The calamari were bearly eatable, so chewy. Nevertheless, the last straw was uncleaned kings' prawn, which when touched poured greenish decomposing juices all over the rest of the soup. Absolutly unedible. When noticed waiter didn't care. You can stay there, but unless we were very unlucky, don't eat there.

Ho provato il Ristorante. Devo dire con una buona qualità del cibo.Un buon servizio, molto professionaleOttima la possibilità di alcuni piatti in versione gluten-free ,per celiaci, non molto spesso considerati i ristorantiDa provare!

Una bellissima sorpresa!Ci sono andato con mia moglie per caso.Il locale è molto accogliente e abbiamo mangiato veramente bene.Il conto, commisurato alla qualità di quanto consumato, ha un rapporto molto favorevole.Sicuramente da provare.Complimenti ad Alberto, il gestore della locanda, sempre presente ed attento alle esigenze della clientela.

We stayed at the hotel and ate at restaurant. Hotel is totally renovated and very modern with huge rooms and huge bathroom with sit down cascading shower and rain shower. Restaurant had excellent service and food. Try the seafood soup although it’s more of a sauce. So fresh with clams mussels prawns. So good I ordered another. Rice with lake perch my wife had. Location of town is a challenge with few ferries to bellagio but that was the appeal and half the price.

The restaurant: Fabulous authentic Italian food! It was super busy when we arrived for dinner and our waiter was superb. Friendly, recommended dishes and spoke perfect English which was a bonus!The hotel: room was cozy and good for a one night stay. The terrace is lovely to sit and have a wine, and a cute outlook over the church and below. The bed had two very thin pillows, and no blanket or cover…just a top sheet. Which was odd - it’s almost like someone forgot to finish making the bed. Also one of the staff let themselves in using the code when we were still in the room (in fact, I was in the bathroom with the door open!) so that wasn’t the best experience.

We slept here one night, the room was super clean and well organised , we found everything we needed. Roberto was extremely helpful, considering that we arrived extremely late at night, he was able to be present for us. We will come back for sure for many others nights.

Non posso certo dire di non essermi trovato bene: ho mangiato ottimi piatti, preparati con cura e con ingredienti di qualità; ho bevuto un buon vino; il servizio è stato puntuale, garbato e cordiale; il locale è ben arredato e in ottima posizione.Le 5 stelle sono ampiamente meritate.Mia personalissima opinione ( che vale evidentemente solo per questa occasione/serata...): al momento di uscire non è stato un caso in cui mi son detto tornerei già domani!""

Very good food and good wine! Amazing deserts! Good service and decoration.Only downsides are that portions are very little (5 raviolis for a main course) forcing you to take starters and deserts + zero effort in the quality of the bread they offer.

Siamo stati alla locanda Alberti per 7 notti. Si tratta di un B&B ben organizzato a due passi dall'imbarcadero nel borgo medioevale di Mandello tutto ristrutturato da un paio d'anni. Dalle foto pubblicate sui vari portali di penotazione mi aspettavo camere ampie, non so le altre ma quella ci hanno assegnato era molto... molto piccola, così pure il bagno.Nessuno ha avvisato che ci sono scale impegnative, quindi sconsigliato a persone anziane o con disabilità (anche solo con fibrillazione atriale). Per il resto ci siamo trovati bene .
