Would I stay here again? No.Pros:- complimentary breakfast was delicious- the grounds are beautiful- servers and drivers are friendly and helpful- wine is great, we bought 12 bottlesCons:- cooking class was just okay, overpriced for what we learned and ate. $400 for chicken wings and gnocchi with tomato.- ants all over my room to a point I woke up in the middle of the night with some crawling on me and my bed.- they’re bistro food did not impress us.- unfriendly + rude reception:I’m not going to write a book on how bad it was. But I was hung up on, as was my husband numerous times with no resolutions. A couple examples: we had paid for a taxi service through the hotel to pick us up at the train station. nobody was there at the train station when we arrived, we called the hotel and they said “they’re coming” and hung up. Well we had to call 3 more times to let them know we had to go to a nearby restaurant because it was raining and we had to leave the train station. Could have discussed that on the first or second call had they not hung up. Driver arrived 45 minutes late and had an attitude we were sitting down at a restaurant. Reception was little to no help.Another instance, I ordered a glass of wine to the room, very similar to train station situation.. hangs up on me instead of offering assistance. It arrived 1 hour and 15 minutes later.There are more instances but I’ll save the details for an email to the hotel. It’s unfortunate we needed to communicate so much with reception because they were not pleasant.

Very pleasant.Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They spoke pretty good English.The view of the village was amazing.The food was delicious, you could go inside and see your food being prepared in the open kitchen.Not too expensive for the quality.

This place was like a dream come true.The area is incredible and so big! It has its own villa, stables with horses, vineyard, etc.The infinity pool and the rest area nearby is super nice, and the view from there is incredibly beautiful.All the staff treated us well and gently, and were super helpful everytime.Is an excellent place to spend some days doing nothing"

Brilliant place in Tuscany.The grounds available at Il Borro are very expansive and varied, you can stroll around the land, stop by for a cocktail near one of the several pools, continue to visit the horses and maybe enjoy a ride.The accommodation in the village was excellent and very authentic but with modern facilities.Staff were pleasant, knowledgeable ghosts always available to help when required and only then.The views are sublime, the food and drinks are excellent.Overall, an excellent stay in a unique setting providing a relaxing and stress free vacation.

Visto da fuori .....eccezionale struttura. Grazie ad una famiglia DI IMPRENDITORI DELLA MODA un Borgo Toscano ha ripreso vita trasformandosi in Hotel di lusso dislocato nelle varie case del vecchio borgo. Fantastico. Per chi ne ha la possibilità è un esperienza da fare.

Bellissimo borgo su un’altura, sapientemente restaurato, con grande eleganza e non eccessivamente, proprio per lasciare naturalezza all’atmosfera antica . Un’operazione encomiabile, da veri imprenditori illuminati. Tuttavia c’è qualche mancanza che non lo rende pienamente un 5 stelle (piscine esterne in manutenzione ma non c è una piscina indoor accessibile, informazioni sui servizi non complete) a parte nel prezzo che è quindi superiore ai servizi offerti. È stata comunque una bella esperienza.

Cosa dire di questo borgo.. RIqualificazione architettonica molto accurata nei minimi dettagli. Il personale efficiente e carinissimo. Eppoi l'installazione della storia di Pinocchio, gli antichi mestieri, lo spettacolare Presepe Abitando a due passi Firenze sono contenta di esser venuta a visitare questo borgo privato così affascinante rimane nel cuore. Ci ritorno sicuramente anche sotto le feste natalizie deve essere emozionante. Grazie dell'ospitalità

Without a doubt, the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The attention was great. The amenities are great and the whole experience is delightful. I wish I could be back soon enough.The wine tasting was amazing, the spa is really nice, the rooms are spacious.

Location con grande potenziale. Infatti ho messo 3 stelle per la bellezza del borgo ma il ristorante avrebbe bisogno di migliorare il servizio accompagnando i piatti e soprattutto i vini con una breve descrizione valorizzando i prodotti locali che sono la vera ricchezza. In effetti la carta dei vini è limitata. Nota dolente del servizio, il personale che porta i piatti al tavolo non dovrebbe mai servire porgendo il piatto di fronte e dovrebbe servire prima le signore come ci si aspetta da un posto come questo dal costo piuttosto alto. Per la cifra che abbiamo pagato ci aspettavamo un trattamento diverso. L'osteria del Borro che purtroppo a pranzo era chiusa di domenica, a vederla da fuori si presenta con un pergolato con ciocche d'uva davvero suggestivo, molto carina.
