Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond their control, my son was unable to physically reach the rental location on the night of our planned departure, as he missed a boat in Venice. However, instead of showing compassion and understanding, the staff at Esse Group responded with suspicion and a lack of willingness to work with us, ultimately ruining our vacation and causing significant financial losses.In a situation where unexpected delays occur, we reached out to Esse Group immediately, hoping they would understand and assist us in finding a resolution. We believed that a compassionate and customer-oriented approach would prevail, allowing us to proceed with our road trip as planned. Unfortunately, this was far from the case.Rather than working with us to find a solution, the staff at Esse Group treated us with suspicion, assuming that we had ulterior motives instead of considering the genuine challenges we faced. Very unprofessional company. We booked to pick up a vehicle at 6:30, then they called and asked us to pick it up the next day. The pick up times kept changing.Never booking with them again. This experience ruined my italy trip…

Non ci ha comunicato il requisito del deposito, quindi ha annullato l'ultimo minuto. Non capisco come un'azienda possa operare in questo modo. Abbiamo prenotato gli hotel pensando di avere un noleggio, ma ora siamo rimasti senza un veicolo per raggiungere la nostra destinazione. Vergogna su di lui. Questa compagnia è la peggiore. Terribili esseri umani senza rispetto per gli altri. Per grazia di Dio, per favore, evita questa compagnia.

Faced with this predicament, we sent our husband to the rental location with the hope of securing the vehicle and adding our original designated driver as a second driver.To our disbelief and dismay, the staff at Esse Group immediately cast suspicious glances our way, assuming we had ulterior motives and were attempting to steal the car. This unjustified prejudice and discriminatory treatment led them to flatly refuse any cooperation or assistance. It is disheartening and deeply troubling that such baseless assumptions can still dictate one's treatment in this day and age.As a consequence of this distressing incident, we find ourselves stranded in Italy, unable to embark on the long-awaited road trip we had meticulously planned.
