Osteria Ae Saracche
Small, unpretentious place about 10 minutes from the Grand Canal in Venice. The food was very good and typical of venetian food. We had the fried fish plate and the octopus and asparagus. Both were done well and obviously very fresh. The place is small and crowded, but not noisy. The small staff were very helpful and accommodating. Book in advance as we got there around 7:30 and their earliest seating was at 9 pm. Luckily, someone canceled, and we got a table. Location is off one of the many sub canals and quite picturesque and quaint.

Great little place along the canal. Limited but excellent selection of fish and vegetable entrees, pasta and main courses. I had the confit duck which was excellent. Good wine list. Great service. We enjoyed it so much we are returning.

Great lunch and friendly service. Food was amazing and they also have gluten free options available for fried foods that is some what surprising. Good selection of dishes and wines.Located a bit out of your regular route, but surely worth visiting. Reservations is recommended even not required.

Lovely experience with super tasty food, exceptional home made desserts and nice wines. Super nice and welcoming team which is made the whole visit even nicer. Thank you for a great dinner! It was delicious!

Really great local restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was on point and fast.I would recommend to book a table here. It can get really crowded if you are not there when they open.

Really a small osteria and I am happy to say as patrons, we had big satisfaction. The 2 hosts were polite and friendly. Most importantly patient to explain the dishes to us and recommended the right selection of white wine to pair with our food. We loved all the dishes. Thank you for making our experience a pleasant one.

Ottimo ristorante non proprio in centro con una location molto carina. Abbiamo diviso un antipasto di mare: praticamente impeccabile, perfetto! Mi hanno deluso un po' i bigoli in salsa, un po' insapore. Porzioni comunque abbondanti per i primi. Prezzi competitivi per quanto riguarda la laguna ma per le bevande prezzi esorbitanti.

Davvero un'ottima scoperta, ho chiamato all'ultimo momento ma ci hanno trovato posto, abbiamo mangiato molto bene e speso il giusto. Fidatevi dei consigli sul vino se non avete le idee chiare.Complimenti ai gestori!
