Abbiamo avuto il piacere di passare una giornata con amici in questa bellissima location, pranzo ottimo, cibi non troppo ricercati ma buoni, vino decisamente top, servizio attento e il sommelier Roberto molto simpatico, consigliato!

We were staying at the cavanera etnea Resort and had a wine tasting and Dinner at the la riserva bistrot. The wine tasting was amazing, thanks to roberto! The Food was also very tasty, and the service at the restaurant was great. All in all it was an amazing experience with very fair prices!

Firriato promptly responded to and honored our reservation for a wine tasting experience, after our having found the other surrounding wineries randomly closed even after having confirmed reservations and confirming their hours.Roberto, our sommelier at Firriato, was passionate about the wine and food pairings, spoke extensively and personally of the history of Mt. Etna , its wines, agriculture, and peoples. In our reservation, we had informed Roberto of our desire to taste only whites and he was not only able to accommodate but he tailored the whites that would showcase and pair best with The dishes served. The wines and the food were such a delight in the palate.The vineyards were gorgeous and the view majestic! A first class experience!

V nice restaurant in magnificent surroundings. Food was above average but not wow. Service was lacking. You don't have to repeat to the staff 5 times that one of us is allergic to tomatoes. Allergy is something that has to be taken v seriously.
