Alert: Please be hungry cos portion here is HUGE! This place was recommended by a friend of ours who lives in Trieste for its pasta. As expected, we were super happy. Service was wonderful, super welcoming even though they couldn’t speak any English. Food was home-recipe cooked and really great with very reasonable prices for its quality and quantity (as alerted)Cant wait to be back soon!

La bontà de questo posto non ha prezzo. La mescola di tradizione, sperienza, professionalità e buon servizio. Primi piatti di 130 grammi pazzeschi, dente perfetto, rapidità, professionalità e con i sapori di sempre. Extra di pancetta ovvunque! Questa è la mia proposta. Tartufo e funghi celestiale. Buccatini salmone e panna... Pane buonissimo.Torno sempre più che volentieri...

This is an amazing place. Truly home cooked food, run by the owner. The pasta is cooked to perfection and every sauce we tried was amazing. The place was just a tad bit small, but given the size of the kitchen, it actually helps regulate the pace.I highly recommend the Carbonara and the Pesto. The four cheese sauce was very good, but if you don’t like blue cheese, stay away.

Stumbled across this cute lil spot and it is so worth! The portions are very generous and the prices are more affordable. 10/10 for the truffle fusilli. Simple, authentic, and lovely!

Mitico il posto. Mitica la pasta. Per quelli che apprezzano gusti richi, il salatone shoshone con pancetta e cipolla calda. Tanti sapori e odori (di paste) ma una non ha rivali: Capo Umbi. Il piccolo posto, con pochi tavoli ma ben disposti e ben conosciuto a tutti i miei amici triestini, senza ecezini.
