Wow, what an amazing place! We had lunch and Spritz here, went on with our day, and came back for an after dinner, dinner! The staff, or I should say the Family that runs the place is so funny, so kind, and so amazing!We are all about a good price, a great place and amazing people and Al Bagolo checked every box.Highly recommend!

Very delicious menu. The service was grate, the personnel very helpful and the menu really delicious. The menu 15€ per person plus the drinks is well affordable for Venice.The only disadvantage is the umbrellas which don't cover all the external area and the sun or the rain could be annoying.Value for money!

Locale provato per caso mentre eravamo disperatamente alla ricerca di un ristorante che avesse posto per cena (all'interno viste le temperature invernali) , abbastanza in zona all'hotel e che possibilmente ci ispirasse.La prima impressione mi aveva riservato qualche dubbio iniziale, nonostante la cordialità del personale, ma devo dire che sono poi spariti.Il ristorante non è grande, modesto e accogliente e il personale è molto professionale e sa far sentire a proprio agio il cliente, che sia o meno turista.Il cibo ci ha stupiti. Abbiamo preso un piatto di cicchetti come aperitivo e, nonostante il dubbio messoci dalla domanda del cameriere ce la fate poi a mangiare anche il secondo?"

Unfortunately the night we ended up at this restaurant it was a bit of a last resort as we hadn't booked anything and we had just arrived back from a day trip to Murano and Burano. This place was located near our Airbnb and the only reason we ate there was because it had tables outside. We ordered the beef lasagna and carbonara and sadly this meal was the worst of our trip. My lasagne was tasteless (I didn't finish it) and I put a load of balsamic vinegar on it just to give it some taste to eat it, it was very mushy. My husband's carbonara had loads of burnt bacon on top.The service was friendly but didn't make up for the quality of the meal.

My husband and I absolutely loved this restaurant! We ate at a table outside in the public square; it was very apparent that this was very much a neighborhood hangout. Children were playing, locals were meeting up for apertivo, and everyone was just so friendly!! The food was fantastic and the service, impeccable!

Visited Venice in January and tried this restaurant on a walk to the main square. Loved it so much we ate there again and went back for drinks another night during our stay. Owner and wait staff were amazing. Made us Americans feel like locals at this amazing place. We look forward to returning soon!

As a last resort, we entered this restaurant as the one we wanted to visit was fully reserved. The waiter who escorted us seemed friendly at first as he guaranteed that he would return the money if we didn't like the food. Later, while ordering the waiter forced us to order two dishes from the main course even though my partner had already ordered drinks for us and he wasn't hungry.We found the staff really unprofessional as despite multiple reminders the waiter didn't get a fork and spoon to eat. Later on, gave a lame excuse that people in Venice eat Pizza with their hands.Finally, when the food arrived it was distasteful, the pizza was slightly burned and the pasta was too mushy. It was a total disaster and the worse meal we had in Italy during our stay of 12 days.To top it all the staff was rude and supremely unprofessional. The guy who promised to return our money just vanished right after we got seated.Please avoid this place, there are so many better places to eat in Venice.
