Le Celle di Lecchi

This is a beautiful place in the middle of Toscana. Everything is very authentic and the buildings are beautifully rustic.If you arrive during summer time, you should be prepared for some heat in the rooms, which can be remedied by keeping the window open during the night as it went town to around 19 °C (even though we had 32-35 °C during the day).There is a pool available for the guests, which is a welcome opportunity for cooling down during the hot days.In the same village (actually just up the road) there are two great restaurants and a little shop, but if you need anything besides groceries, you need to drive to the next bigger villages Gaiole or Radda.Siena is approx. 30 minutes of driving away, so it is a great opportunity for a day trip.But the best about the whole accommodation is certainly Ranjid. He is the host, taking care of every matter around the whole estate and he is one of the nicest persons we have ever met.One night he prepared some home made pizza (which was amazing by the way) and he is most helpful whatever we needed.Thanks a lot for that, we appreciate it very much.
