Luciana’s dinners brought the best of Italian cooking to our airbnb. With four kids, we couldn’t eat out at night and didn’t want to miss out on delicious Italian cuisine. Luciana’s four course meals are a fine dining experience within the comfort of your home. She is kind, thorough in her menu and decoration, and clearly loves what she does (the secret ingredient). If I ever return to Umbria (and I hope too), I’d hire Luciana again.

Where should I start?! I’m still day dreaming of Lucianas food.We were a group of twelve friends from Sweden staying in Italy for three nights and were so lucky to have Luciana as chef for all three nights. She was so easy to have contact with before arriving in Italy, 100 % reliable with payment and all practical things beforehand. We hade some specific food requests and she was very open and flexible. Also extremely good with managing all allergies. Her suggested menus are delicious. She has a very good feeling to create the best evenings with everything from setting the table to knowing when to serve next dish. Her pasta is by far the best I have ever had in Italy (and I’ve had many…) Can’t find one single reason to not book Luciana to explore the best of Italian food.Thank you so much Luciana for giving us three amazing evenings! I’m sure we will meet again.

Extraordinary!! We had three wonderful meals with Luciana; two of which included lessons. Luciana is highly engaged in making arrangements and is very easy to work with. For lessons, she sets up everything in very organized fashion including needed equipment. She even brought in the local pizzaiolo for pizza night - which was so fun and memorable! Her cooking is simple and elegant - and includes full service with her assistant; and they also do all the hard clean up work afterwards. She clearly is not afraid of hard work. Our experiences with Luciana and her team added so much “local” experience and joy to our trip. She is a very warm and pleasant person at the heart ; and felt like she was part out our family the week we were there. Magnificent!!Mark Sopp, Houston TX

Incredible! My only regret is we didn’t book Luciana for more nights! We initially booked one night, then two nights, then 3. The food was incredible. Genuinely 10/10. Luciana was just superb. Really friendly, knowledgeable, great food, and managed the evening just perfectly. I can’t recommend enough. I will definitely be calling again when I’m back in Italy. Absolutely loved it. As did my 4 friends. They still talk about the experience over a month later.

Our evening with Luciana was just perfect. The food was fabulous and gorgeous . Her special touches on each dish so far exceeded anything we might have expected. We loved the evening, the experience and the time spent with beautiful Luciana.We will be repeating the evening again soon so we can try more of the many menu options. Though my husband insists that we have the tiramisu again

We highly recommend Chef Luciana! Not only was the food delicious, she was able to accommodate an extremely challenging set of dietary restrictions, and still come up with fun, exciting menus. We enjoyed lamb Orvieto style, some wonderful fish preparations (try the fish with pistachio crust!), porchetta, delicious deserts, and various other meals. Chef Luciana was an absolute pleasure to work with – kind, responsive, and speaks excellent English. We were so impressed with her whole team.During our vacation, we unfortunately faced a family emergency which lead to some major shifts in our plans. Chef Luciana was incredible at changing our arrangements throughout to match our new needs while a member in our group was hospitalized, and then working with her team to unexpectedly cover more meals for this member when they were discharged and had to stay longer to recover. Despite being the high season and being incredibly busy, she was so kind and empathetic, and made sure we were covered. She and her team were such rays of sunshine during an extremely difficult time. We highly recommend her and hope to meet her again one day.

We had Luciana cook for us two nights and thoroughly enjoyed both of them! She was very pleasant, easy to work with and most importantly an excellent cook!We plan on using her again our next time in the area.

Our time with Chef Luciana is a highlight of our trip to Italy. Our travel companions and we enjoy every minute of our time as we make pasta and focaccia adding her grandmother's special recipe for ragu. It is a meal to remember! As if that is not enough, we finish our meal with the most wonderful lemon tiramisu. Not only is she an excellent, patient, and delightful cooking instructor, she is also a wonderful friend. We always look forward to our time with Luciana when in Italy!

How do we begin to communicate just how wonderful our friend Chef Luciana is?! When we bring clients to beautiful Umbria, we have the most delightful evening with Luciana, learning to make pasta and focaccia! Before the evening is over, we’re served not only the products of our own making but also a lovely menu proposed and prepared by Luciana and her able sous chef. As we prepare and as we eat, Luciana shares her lifetime of Italian experiences with us - tales of family gatherings, her grandmother’s secret ingredients (!) and traditions long enjoyed in this beautiful culture. As our relationship has continued over these years, Luciana is not only a welcome partner for our business but is also a dear friend. Here’s a hint: Ask her about her Lemon Strawberry Tiramisu…❤️
