Oct 28, 2014Twelve years ago I met Massimiliano Doscioli, Max...He is now a very close friend, a soul mate, a fellow warrior in this world.Twelve years ago he sold us our place here in Pescia...but first he learned who we were and then showed us the neighborhoods that would suit us. He helped me through the Italian purchase process and paperwork. I could not have done it otherwise.We come to Italy twice a year and ALWAYS break bread and spend time with Max. We talk politics, religion, women, healthy living eating meditation, Italian dialects, the latest in bicycles, his work morphing with the economic conditions, his mother, his sister, his 6 ? yr old niece who is a brain cancer survivor (she is fully in remission, in school and plays drums!!). Motorcycles (he was ranked #7 in all of Italy in the 1000cc class racing.)
