Avevo letto la presentazione di Gennaro prima della partenza per Capri. Ho chiamato per prenotare un giro in barca ed ho scoperto una persona gentilissima e professionale Gennaro che mi ha fornito tutte le indicazioni necessarie per vivere al meglio Capri. Aver iniziato il viaggio con in giro di 4 ore per tutta l'isola è stato non solo emozionante e strabiliante ma anche la scelta migliore per conoscere l'isola dal punto di vista più bello... IL MARE! GENNARO non solo è stato un Cicerone eccezionale ma anche una persona di compagnia che con simpatia e discrezione ci ha fatto conoscere il meglio: segreti, storie e luoghi scobosciuti ed esclusivi di questa terra. Consigliato dove mangiare dell'ottimo pesce e come muoversi. In somma Gemmaro è Capri, conoscerlo è stato una fortuna ed un privilegio. Torno presto e lo richiamo! The HIGHLIGHT of our ENTIRE Honeymoon trip through the Amalfi CoastUpon landing at Capri's Marina Grande, you are immediately approached by dozens of boat tour promoters, each claiming that their tour/boat is the best you can get. In the midst of all this, I believe that a touch of divine providence was behind our encounter with Gennaro. He told us his story. As a 50 year-old Capri native (his birth home is right on the Marina), it pained him to see all these opportunist-sailors coming to make a quick buck. He explained that they tourists like simple paychecks while he treated them like guests in his other house (his boat). This was enough to convince us; and we did not regret our choice.During our 1-hour tour, we realized that Gennaro was the MOST SEASONED of all sailors around the Isle of Capri. HE actually stopped many times to give warning and advice to other tour boat operators who didn't know how to properly navigate those waters. He was also very reassuring the whole time (those high waves can get scary on a small boat). Best of all, Gennaro turned out to be an EXCELLENT PHOTOGRAPHER. He mastered out Samsung S8 camera in no time and gave us expert-grade photos that we'll hold dear for a lifetime. Last but not least, in true Italian playboy fashion, our tour was filled with laughter brought by stories of his past adventures with women from all over the globe. Very entertaining! We didn't see the time go by.Finally, he also gave us tips from a true local on where to eat, what to do and how to avoid tourist traps. When we go back to Capri, we will look for No OTHER sailor than him. MILLE GRAZZIE (I hope you'll read this and remember us).

Gennaro e Mario, padre e figlio, ma un’unica esplosione di accoglienza e puro spirito caprese! Con gentilezza e simpatia ci hanno fatto scoprire una Capri inedita. Sicuramente i migliori sull’isola!

Amazing experience! This guy knows the water and all the spots you will want to see around the Island. Great snorkeling spots, the grottos, the secrets, and his knowledge of the history was outstanding. His all day tour was relaxing and just what me and my wife were hoping for.
