Small but cozy. Nice for kids, there is a small playground inside.Not the best zoo, but this is not the biggest city. Good quality for money

The zoo is mainly an animal rescue center if I understood it correctly, rescuing animals from circuses and private keepers. It’s not the most amazing zoo ever and the cages could be bigger, but definitely an improvement to circus cages. Most animals look good and relaxed, the cages are updated whenever there is enough money. I had a good time there :) I would advice to charge more for entry to improve the zoo more, but I guess it has to be working for locals as well and not only for tourists with more money.

Small zoo with assortment of animals. Hosts some famous species like lions, tigers(Bengali, white ones), bears. Aviaries look a bit small for a big animals. Perfect bird lake corner. As far as understood this zoo also serves as a shelter for animals (like wing broken storks) which cannot live in the wild because of trauma, for example.

Nice little zoo to spend some time while in Varna. Did not have the chance to meet the tiger, the wolves were temporary relocated and the bear was nowhere around. The mighty Lion did not bother with us, he was just very hot and took a nap lying next to the window. Overall a nice experience. Tickets also affordable (6 leva for two adults and a 1,5 year old kid)

Small zoo but did have a great selection of animals. Highlights for me were the big cats (lions, tigers and lynx), llama and wild birds. Clean and well maintained, Some construction work ongoing but didn't affect enjoyment and probably the best time of year to do it. Great price of 3leva per adult.

A small but good value zoo. The facilities for animals here are very tired, but there is hope, areas of the zoo are closed off and it’s very clear that they are upgrading the zoo, removing fencing for glass, providing seating and a much better quality experience.Despite the size you will see lions, tigers, a bear, camels and mongooses. Among the choice of animal on offer.

Great small zoo to visit for an hour or so. You get to see up close lions, tiger, bear and some other more unusual ones such as llama, camels, kangaroo. Animal labels and description next to each area. Animals look well cared for. Cheap entry ticket.
