We were really disappointed with the food. It was very underwhelming and overpriced for what you get. The service was good and the hotel staff was really polite. All things considered, we wish we read the reviews before eating here.

Absolute mediocrity. Very moderate food. This place is among those when you feel sorrow about your choice that you preferred to stay at the hotel rather than going to the town when being in Tuscany

This food is terrible and extremely overpriced. If staying at Grotta Giusti please do not go here ... you will regret it. There is a fantastic restaurant that is a safe and easy 10 minute walk down the road called La Cantina. Great food and nicely priced, we wish we would have gone there every night.

Would not recommend dining here at all. The food was mediocre at best. The service was okay, this meaning the waiters. The staff that helped out with the wine kept finding ways to charge you more. The first night I ordered a bottle of Prosecco and when I tried to order another bottle they said they were out of stock, so they recommend a bottle of champagne. I thought it would be around the same price point, but it was double. The next night I ordered a normal bottle of red wine and when they brought it to the table it was a different bottle, so I asked why they had changed it. They mentioned this one was a bit better and more suited to the food we ordered so I was fine with that. When the bill came around I noticed that that bottle was also double so I asked to speak to the manager and explained what had happened. They took the bill away rudely and drop it off at the table with the price of the bottle I had ordered. No apology or anything. The hotel is great even though service isn’t that good. I would’ve preferred to go into town to get dinner than stay at the hotel. The ambiance was nice with live music but the food isn’t worth it and the hassle of having to check the bill to see if they overcharged is just too much.

We ate here for many nights of our stay at the hotel. We were happy with the service we received and loved coming to dinner to have someone know our order. Wine selection was great and cocktails were also delicious. There’s a kids menu too. I wish their menu had more vegetarian friendly items, but we’re in Tuscany. They can adapt some dishes, which was super helpful.We sat outside every night which was surprisingly not hot. There’s a green space that kids can play.The quality of the food that we had was amazing. The only times we didn’t feel well from all the eating out on our trip, was when we went somewhere else to eat. So we finished our trip with eating at Poeta.The prices are typical hotel restaurant prices, but the service and food justify it.

We unfortunately didn’t read the reviews until we had our first course. The food was terrible and the service was very mediocre. We asked for more bread but never received it.The pasta had no taste.The menu is a QR code. That should have been our first clue that this restaurant was not on par with the quality of the hotel.Strongly advise against eating here.

We ate here without checking the reviews because we were staying at the resort and figured nothing else was around, but if you’re reading this, you can avoid eating at this terrible restaurant. The servers spoke English and were kind, but we almost left before we could get anyone’s attention for the bill. The portions were small, but the food was so bad, we didn’t even finish it. Save yourself and go to the incredible local eatery a 3 minute walk away. We went there after (as our exceptionally expensive dinner left us hungry) and enjoyed better food, wine, and service at a fraction of the cost. This restaurant was hands down the worst Italian food we’ve had in Italy or North America.
