My husband and I are from Australia so had to have full trust in them to find and book everything to make our day perfect - and that's exactly what they did! We are really grateful for the help from Alessandro for facilitating our civil union in Rome. As a couple residing in Singapore, where same-gender marriages are not recognized, we had to jump through a number of hoops to get together the necessary documentation. Alessandro provided clear information on the procedures. As non-residents in Rome, we had to get a lot of help from Alessandro to gather the prerequisites before we eventually fly to Rome. With some skepticism as the service fee was quite a sum, hefty but on hindsight, reasonably priced for the service, we requested for a video call first to understand about the procedures. The video call went well and we were happy to put a face to the many text exchanges during the period. We really wanted to get married in August, but it wasn’t quite possible because it’s vacation season and the Italian offices are closed. Although the August ceremony didn’t happen, Alessandro really tried his many means to make August happen for us. When the offices reopened in September, he got in touch with us again for the possible dates. He also engaged a professional translator and helped us engage two witnesses to make the ceremonies happen. We completed the civil union in October, and are now back in Singapore living our happily ever.

The wedding service provided by Makeda Wedding was absolutely perfect! They organized the ceremony without any mistakes or issues, always keeeping us updated and feeling secure. The process was very smooth and the planners were available on Whastapp all the time.They guided us through the preparations with lots of care, providing us with details along the way. The planning process was very short and they still managed to organize everything we wished for, but also provided excellent recommendations for things we did not even think about. All of their recommendation and advice turned out to be excellent decisions that made our day very special.On our wedding day they were there to help us with the final steps and assist with the final details.I would highly recommend Makeda Wedding Planner to all couples who wish a magical wedding in Italy with zero stress!

Alessandro and Marianna have been super professional and resourceful in making our wedding possible. Our case was non standard as there were multiple consular offices involved and non standard elements. Alessandro navigated the complexities very well.Besides this, Alessandro and Marianna truly love their job and making couples happy. This made the process smooth and enjoyable for us. Alessandro and his team at Makeda Wedding Planner were extremely easy and pleasant to work with. We had a civil wedding ceremony that we planned with short notice yet Alessandro made it happen. He has many resources like photographer, florist, etc. that we used and they too were great. Alessandro and Marianna clearly show from the beginning their passion for nature, forests and ecological style. We love mountains, trekking and in the first call on Skype we found out that Marianna and Alessandro knew the Dolomites very well and in particular the South Tyrol region. The wedding was scheduled for September 2018 but then it happened that my husband broke his ankle, so the event was canceled. Alessandro and Marianna has been really kind with us that time since they assisted us to recover and plan the wedding again from the beginning. The wedding was organized in Avelengo, a small town near Merano. They selected for us a refined mountain resort and designed a ceremony on a terrace that overlooked the entire Merano's valley! It has been a fantastic ceremony with floral arrangements just as I wanted. We will never forget these wonderful moments !! I will absolutely recommend them to my closest friends!
