I rate this Hertz 5 stars for the beautiful and friendly woman that assisted me at the front desk. My goodness. Really exceptional. But the price came out to be triple then the price quoted on Hertz after all the added fees and insurances. So be forewarned with the sticker shock.

After being given a lemon by another car rental company, we needed a last minute rental car. A kind associate (her name was Asia) was able to help us out - and the price was fair as well. No issues with the car or upon return.

I have this car rental reservation (at 11:30) from Hertz/Dollar office of Olbia via Booking.com.I landed to Olbia airport and went to the rental office at 1:30 pm to rent my reserved car but there was queue so we wait 30 minutes there.The staff stated that, my car reserved for someone else because I came late. So they extracted 113 EU extra cost to rent another car for us.There was no statement indicating that 2hrs rule to drop my reservation without money pay back.I was in the queue already. I rent the other car paying extra 113 EU because they did not cancel my reservation for free.Also car navigation and phone charging was not working properly.

Absolute scam. Avoid at all cost.We called 2 days before our car pickup to confirm our reservation for two weeks in August - all good. We had reserved 6 months in advance due to high tourist season.We showed up and surprise! They only have a manual car even though we reserved (and confirmed) an automatic. We do not know how to drive manual. Hertz refused to help - the nasty woman just shrugged and said, “well it’s all I have, not my problem.” With no other option, we had to book, on the spot and last minute, the last available automatic car in Olbia from a different agency - for an extra 2,500€. Completely ruined our vacation.Further, note this is a “Hertz” in name only. Once all this became an issue, this location and Hertz customer service both pulled out the “this is not really a Hertz - it’s just a franchise” excuse. Of course. Absolute con artists.

I’m a travel agent and I booked on behalf of my clients. The client’s rental was seamless. When I needed special attention for the client, Alice was awesome. Accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend renting from this Hertz.

I had a fantastic experience with the polestar 2 and everything was fine. Next year I will book again with Hertz.

Worst car rental experience yet.. told us that none of our credit/debit cards work for the deposit until finally - and for no apparent reason - one did but it was mine and my gf made the reservation..We thus were told we needed to cancel the old reservation (no refund) and rebook the same car for almost x3 of original price.Zero friendliness or understanding made it a pretty disappointing start to our vacation.

Great team , the people at the counter were very friendly and fast , the cars are nice and new , returning the car was fast and smooth , thank you to Luca.

It was my worst experience with a rental car agency and it was the worst part of our trip.We have booked an Opel Mokka or similar, they gave us a peugeot 208 and asked us to pay more to have a larger size.The service was very poor and does not offer any solution to us.I don't recommend this agency.
