Charming, modern tasting room. Our host (Daniele) and hostess (Cristine) were incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic purveyors of Italian Truffles. They provide history, region and types of truffles and truffle products. These include wine pairing, recipe ideas and fresh truffles as well as truffle products including oils, honey, salts and spreads. Psstttt.... If you aren't a wine lover they have many Belgian beers! Located in the lovely mountain town of Sarnano, Italy LaCerqua adds a fresh face to the midevil town. What a wondwrful experience to any passerby. In conversation, it was revealed that they also offer hunting experiences. For those that are curious or want to learn more, I highly recommend going on the hunt. Fabulous experience!

Locale unico nel suo genere. Grande ricercatezza nei dettagli, materie prime fresche e di qualità. Una carta dei vini eccellente e raffinata. Insomma, un’esperienza enogastronomica da provare e da vivere. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Returned to their store from a truffle hunt they took us upon. Great walk in the country. Alas, dog did not locate any truffles! Boar had clearly been searching before our arrival. Plates of different foods served with various amounts of truffle. The parmesan cheese with truffle honey was exceptional. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Very interesting wines and items for sale. The store itself is very classy. A very classy experience with knowledgeable and talented folk. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful and unique experience! Daniele and Cristine took us out with their very sweet dog, Spuma, truffle hunting in a gorgeous park. It would have been fun just for the hike, but it was so exciting every time Spuma found a truffle! They are both so kind and so well-informed about truffles. I learned so much and had a great time, and all of that was before the amazing tasting we had back at their beautiful shop in Sarnano! We were treated with such a delicious array of truffle treats and wine, and even got to eat the truffles we found ourselves! Everything was SO delicious. I really can’t recommend this place enough, we will be telling everyone we know going to Italy to treat themselves to this experience!
