Locanda Cavour

Posizione centralissima, ristrutturazione molto recente senza badare a risparmio, con finiture di pregio. Pulizia impeccabile, biancheria confortevole. Finestre con chiusura perfetta che isolano molto bene dai rumori del centro. Impianti tecnologici molto moderni, avrebbe aiutato qualche istruzione in più su come farli funzionare o su come accedere alle stanze: le istituzioni ricevute in modo molto efficace con whatsapp ci hanno ricordato un'escape room, con diversi accessi smart da aprire in sequenza tramite app o codici numerici. Consigliato.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in early June 2022. The place is amazing. Friendly people, great central location, modern beautiful rooms in old historic building. The people in the candy store, bakery - Pasticceria Cavour Caffetteria on the street level where you enter were awesome and their food was incredible. I would stay here again in a heartbeat !

Das Locanda liegt mitten im Herzen der Citta Alta direkt an der Hauptstraße (Straße" ist relativ es ist eher eine Fußgängerzone).Wichtig zu wissen ist

We found the location great but the system to get in with codes and boxes and having to ring about it a few times very cumbersome..however easy to communicate through WhatsApp and phone. Otherwise good, amazing old building.I WhatsApped to ask to have our thermostat turned down and it was done remotely in minutes...a bit big brother but still...

The room was really nice and comfortable. The toilet and shower are really grate. The first bed is excellent but the second is a sofa/bed so is not so comfortable.The cleanness is excellent.Great location in the middle of the old city.I don't like at all the web check in. There is not a concierge and you have to use an app to open the doors (entrance, inside doors and room). And what if you have any problem during the night?

In pieno centro a Bergamo Alta questa Locanda si presenta molto Ospitale e pulita. Le stanze sono nominate come dei pasticcini che richiamano anche la pasticceria fenomenale facente parte della stessa proprietà. La nostra camera era molto ampia e dei curata in ogni dettaglio. È presente un divano una televisione ed un bellissimo bagno con doccia con piatto a scomparsa. Si vede che è un luogo recentemente restaurato, il check-in ed il check-out sono completamente automatizzati. Ideale sarebbe, come abbiamo fatto noi, cenare presso il ristorante stellato da Vittorio, e pernottare presso la locanda, potendo così godere della parte alta della città.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Locanda Cavour in Bergamo, Italy, and overall, it was a delightful experience. This hotel offers modern amenities and an unbeatable location just steps away from the magnificent cathedrals of Bergamo. The rooms, housed within a historic building, were beautifully designed and added to the overall charm of the establishment.The check-in process fell short of expectations. Despite arriving at 2 p.m. to find my room ready, there was a noticeable absence of staff on-site. Unfortunately, it happened to be a Wednesday, and the closure of the hotel's sister restaurant further exacerbated the situation. Consequently, I found myself in an uncomfortable position where the housekeeper had to resort to phone communication with a manager who had limited English proficiency. The lack of on-site assistance made for a chaotic and frustrating experience, which was particularly disheartening on a scorching day when temperatures soared to 35°C. Fatigued, dehydrated, and treated poorly, it left much to be desired.Additionally, I encountered an issue with the room's temperature control. The thermostat was non-adjustable, leaving the room at a constant 24°C. To address this concern, I was told later I had to contact a manager over WhatsApp, which was impractical as her number was never provided to me. It would have been much more convenient to have direct control over the room temperature. Despite this drawback, the cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and the housekeeping service provided was top-notch. I appreciate the effort put into maintaining a pristine environment.Locanda Cavour's excellent location, charming rooms, and proximity to Bergamo's attractions still make it a worthy recommendation. It truly is a lovely place to stay, and despite the setbacks, I would gladly return for another visit.

اذا شفتوا شكله من برا تحسون انه قديم ، بس لما تدخلون داخل مره روعه ، جديد وجميل وتصميم مودرن والنظافة ١٠/١٠من افضل الفنادق اللي حبيتها

Wir waren von Freitag bis Montag zu Gast in der Locanda Cavour. Die Zimmer sind außergewöhnlich schön, der Standort ist einfach nur der Hammer und alles war sehr sauber. Der Zimmerservice ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Betten im Zimmer waren super bequem :) Die zugehörige Pasticceria serviert außergewöhnlich leckeres Gebäck und tollen Kaffee. Der Zugang zum Zimmer ist über Pincode an den Türen und einen Locker den man per Handy öffnen kann gestaltet. Wir fanden das System super und alles hat problemlos funktioniert. Man bekommt den Code und den Link zum Öffnen des Lockers (welche die Zimmerkarte enthält) am Tag der Anreise kurz bevor das Zimmer bereit ist (idR 15 Uhr). Wir sagen Danke für den tollen Service und kommen ganz sicher wieder!
