Une expérience d’hébergement de qualité dans un cadre toscan magnifique. Situé sur une petite route sinueuse, le village Poggio della Croce est situé en hauteur, encadré par deux sommets et vous donne une vue imprenable sur la vallée. Pour nous qui ne parlions pas italien, Lorenzo Becattini, le fils du propriétaire nous a accueilli dans un anglais impeccable. L’appartement est situé au-dessus du restaurant de Monsieur Becattini. (Attention, ce restaurant n’est pas ouvert tous les jours.) Les pièces sont vastes et bien aérées, mais il n’y a pas de moustiquaire. Chaque chambre est dotée de portes fenêtres donnant sur un grand balcon où la vue vaut le détour. De ce balcon, on peut admirer la vallée et le soleil qui s’y couche. Nous tenons à souligner la chaleur et l’efficacité de Lorenzo Becattini. Il nous a conseillé sur les lieux à visiter ou à éviter, il nous a guidés pour nous permettre d’acquitter une contravention, entièrement rédigée en italien, reçue à un poste de péage. Il y a un autre point que nous voulions souligner. Nous sommes arrivés en début de soirée et avions prévu manger au restaurant Becattini. Malheureusement il était fermé. Pour nous dépanner, Lorenzo et ses parents nous ont préparé un encas plus que copieux et servi avec chaleur. Un point qui pourrait être amélioré : l’accès Internet. Le routeur WiFi n’est pas très puissant et il est particulièrement difficile d’accéder à Internet. Cela dit, nous recommandons grandement cette location.A quality accommodation experience in a beautiful Tuscan setting. Located on a small winding road, Poggio della Croce village is located high framed by two peaks and gives you a breathtaking view of the valley. For us who did not speak Italian, Lorenzo Becattini, the owner's son welcomed us in perfect English. The apartment is located above the restaurant Mr. Becattini. (Please note, this restaurant is not open every day.) The rooms are large and airy, but there are no screens. Each room has French doors leading onto a large balcony where the view is worth the trip. From this balcony, you can admire the valley and the sun lie down. We emphasize the warmth and efficiency of Lorenzo Becattini. He advised us on the places to visit or avoid, he guided us to enable us to pay a ticket, written entirely in Italian, received a tollbooth. There is another point that we wanted to highlight. We arrived early evening and had planned to eat at the restaurant Becattini. Unfortunately it was closed. To help us out, Lorenzo and his parents have prepared a snack more than ample and served with warmth. A point that could be improved: Internet access. The WiFi router is not very powerful and it is particularly difficult to access the Internet. However, we highly recommend this property.
