Dopo 4 ore di sosta abbiamo inserito il biglietto nella cassa automatica e la macchinetta ci ha fatto pagare 30 euro senza motivo. Sconsigliato

Parcheggio assurdo, all'entrata davano posti liberi poi in realtà era tutto pieno, continuavano entrare le macchine e alla fine non si poteva fare neanche le manovre per uscire. Non c'era neanche un custode per fermare le entrate e gestire una situazione disastrosa. Comunque anche la costruzione è stata fatta senza pensare alle macchine basse, molti hanno avuto problemi perché le rampe sono troppo pendenti evl'entrata e l'uscita dalla stessa parte.

Prices are expensive but it's very convenient, the parking attendants can be very dickish to tourists, speaking in extremely fast Italian when you make it clear you don't understand. No attempt to dumb down or gesture, despite varenna being a tourist hot spot.

Good place to leave your car. Great localization. Huge advantage is a view from the top of parking.

Appalling car park. The sign at the entrance said ‘Libero’ which means that there are spaces. We drove in, having to avoid dozens of cars exiting, only to find that there weren’t any spaces at all. On the way out many more cars entered, obviously doing the same futile drive to the top level!

Coming to Lake Como… drive to Varrena and park here….lot of parking spots at 9.30 am…. ramp is tight for large vehicles…close to ferry terminal to go to Bellagio/Lenno.

The cost is €2 per hour, which is high but the convenience is great. There is always a queue because it reaches capacity so get here early and no more then 2 cars can be “waiting” as it backs into the only road out of varenna so police control this tightly. Once inside it is a little confusing to know where to park as many areas are residents or hotels only. Spaces are tight to larger cars risk damaging the paintwork. However the staff are friendly and it’s metres from the main part of varenna. There is also a vending machine with cold drinks for very good prices.

The multilevel parking lot in Varenna had both positive and negative aspects. During the middle of the day, it was crowded, and finding a spot was a challenge. We had to wait for someone to leave before securing a parking space. The pricing structure was unclear, as different durations had varying rates. For instance, 6 euros were required for a 3-hour stay, while 4 euros covered 4 hours. It would have been helpful if the pricing system was more transparent. On a positive note, parking was quite inexpensive, the location was excellent, situated in the heart of the town center. It was a mere 5-minute walk from various attractions, making it easily accessible on foot. Despite the parking difficulties, being centrally located compensated for the inconvenience.

Be careful guys going down. The ramps are too steep. I have a MB C180 and it touched down completely. Much better to park near to Ferry station.
