Difficult to rate Vero Venetian. Difficult because the maitre gave us 5-star attention and a personalized tour of the hotel, he could not have been nicer, and we much appreciated the time he dedicated to us after a pleasant, not great, lunch in the terrace.We found the cooking style, tired, tasteless and the presentation missed out big time. The tableware is beautiful, the potential of becoming a good restaurant are there but the kitchen needs a motivated chef which is capable to bring Venice on the hand made Murano glass plates in a fresh tasteful and contemporary way.The price we paid was for the hotel tour, the sunny day, and the terrace view but not for the food.In the evening I went for a cocktail in the beautiful bar.While the Negroni and service were great, the choice of the small bites served with the cocktail was basic and of a mediocre taste.

Possibly the best fillet steak I've ever had (and I've had quite a few!). Service was excellent and very attentive. Food quality and presentation was excellent, with home made and local produce. Lovely atmosphere too, would definitely recommend!

I don't thing there is a single thing to fault here. Everything I had was locally produced, including the Venetian wine! The atmosphere was wonderful, the staff were passionate and extremely good at what they do, and the food was thoughtful and delicious. The cocktail made from one of their specially made gins was one of the top three in my life, and I even got to enjoy poetry. Food for the pallet and the soul.

Fine dining at its best! The place to be when in Venice. Francesco and Team made the best of our stay and dinner. Inconspicuous but beautiful ambietene, Local ingredients and selected wines, nice, friendly and professional staff and service. Always coming back when in Venice!

We been here 2 people, one vegan that can't eat gluten and one who it everything.The place is very well designed, the stuff is very nice, maybe too nice.The food was great, very Italial, well made.The price is high, but we felt it was fair and we knew it before.Its a slow place with great atmosphere.We had a great evening.

Special place. Nice view, next to the Lagoon.Outstanding Risotto and an excellent wine recommendation. The Tiramisu was special too.
