We spent the day in Venice this was in mid September. We took the ferry from Punta Sabbioni to Venice for €19/each (credit card and cash € accepted) round trip, it’s about 30 minutes with a stop in Lido. We took our English Toy Terrier, Luigi, with us, he is 4 Kilos/8 lbs and was not required to be in a travel bag or muzzled. However, we were required to wear a mask and could remove masks if seated outside. The ferries runs every 30 minutes, last ferry back is 12:30am. There are also other unofficial ferries available at a fraction of the price, €10 round trip, but we chose to play it safe and took the official route.
