Rifugio frara is in a beautiful location on the gardena pass. Tidy dormitories, shoe dryer in the basement, good food and nice terrace with a view of the Sellagruppe. Nice location to start a hut tour or walk.

the bar made me a delicious oat milk cappuccino — it was such a treat. there was a beautiful view inside and outside, and a cute little shop. 10/10 will probably stop back in tomorrow for another cappuccino.

meno di 1 stella purtroppo non potevo, servizio pessimo e prezzi da fuori di testa, 13 euro 1 panino nemmeno troppo grande ed 1 birra ed hanno pure sbuffato perché me lo sono fatto portare fuori al tavolo...

Reception playing really loud music 11pm at night, heard it loud and clear on second floor, asked them to turn it down a bit please, older guy gives very rude comment and seemingly turned it down, only to find when I’m back in the room he then turned it up even louder than before. Amazing how agressieve and childish this is. Had the worst sleep and experience during hikes, recommend to avoid this place at all cost.

It's kinda tricky to know what you will get, considering it's on border" between Gardena valley (good food) and Badia valley (bad food)

Voto al ristorante.Ci siamo fermati per pranzare durante il nostro giro dei 4 passi.Spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino discreti.Gulash con polenta e funghi abbastanza buono ma la polenta non è all'altezza della località montana. Per nulla.Quello che fa crollare il voto è il servizio, non ci siamo. Frettolosi, ci portano il cesto del pane con all'interno delle fette disordinate, probabilmente spiluccate da altri tavoli. Per ordinare un caffè dopo il pasto abbiamo chiamato il cameriere e ci ha risposto con sgarbatezza e fretta, talmente di corsa che non abbiamo nemmeno fatto a tempo di specificare che uno dei caffè lo volevamo macchiato.La prossima volta ci fermeremo da un'altra parte.

The hotel is old and nice but the service we received was not good.Behaved to us in a non-gentle and unpleasant manner as requested. Both in the restaurant service at noon when we arrived at the hotel, and also at breakfast - we really felt that they were doing us a favor by answering our request. And even when we returned after 4 hours of walking due to the snow blocking the continuation of route 666, and we asked for help with ordering a taxi to Passo Porodoi, they barely answered me when I contacted the staff, they were unkind and completely ignored me as if they didn't know me and we hadn't stayed here until that morning.Even if I was a person who is just passing by, I should receive respectful treatment and service.In conclusion - we were very disappointed with the service at the hotel!! È un rifugio, chi si aspetta un resort ha sbagliato tutto, detto questo èun ottimo rifugio a cui non manca proprio nulla. Siamo in alta montagna, con tutte le difficoltà del caso che vanno tenute in considerazione. Il punto di forza è la posizione, e il personale cordiale e disponibile. Cibo ottimo e vario. Stanze confortevoli con vista mozzafiato.

We booked a quadruple room. I contacted them regarding check in on Google chat, email and Instagram as they don’t provide telephone number anywhere. There was zero response from them. We stayed there for one night. The worst experience I had as a guest. Such an unfriendly, unpleasant and not caring staff. Only the amazing view kept us happy.

Ci siamo fermati per una pausa durante il dolomiti bike day. Ci hanno chiesto 42 euro per 4 coche medie e 3 krapfen vecchi. Una vera rapina. State alla larga!
