As others noted and I didn't really take the comments in; not much access to public space up there. Unless you use one of the two restaurants that dominate the frontage. Weird. Why the hype and advertising???? It's like spending a lot of time.getting to the ride up and connecting half way and all for a small scenic overlook. Which is beautiful. But not worth the 3 hours I invested in it. :(

Breathtaking view of the mountains, the lake. Incredible atmosphere at the top. You can get here by cableway or by car.

Beautiful views. We hiked up to the top from Gandria. It was steep and many stairs. Took 2 hours. Absolutely an accomplishment! Took the funicular down to Lugano. Last trip both ways was at 6pm. Not great views from the funicular but very happy I didn’t have to hike down!
