Ciao Tutti.Avevo fatto lezioni con un istruttore privato a Galileo Galilei per il mese di ottobre. Sono molto felice del mio risultato in rispetto a quanto conoscenza abbia preso. Non avrei mai corretto il mio italiano senza l'insegnante Sylvia. Le era molto compassionevole dell'insegnamento, anche con tutte le mie domande, era paziente e spiegata tutto di cui che dovevo capire. Grande istruttore e le auguro il meglio. Sopra tutto ho imparato cose importanti che avevo bisogno per miglorare nella mia lingua italiano. Devo anche dire che il segretario Jimberly è stata molto gentile e attento alle mie progetti e ai miei lezione e ha fatto. Natrualamente lei era simpatici con i miei piani a lavorare con le mie lezioni. As an adult transplant to Florence from the US, learning Italian has been critical for me. Istituto Galilei and my instructor, Silvia, have played a huge role not only in my acquisition of the language, but also in my development of an understanding of contemporary Italian culture and significant events.The school offers a great combination of warmth and professionalism in a very central location. In my case, I am working and raising kids, and the school has always been accommodating of my schedule.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for either visitors interested in a brief course or newcomers to Italy who need or want to make a prolonged effort to learn Italian or take their Italian to the next level.

I have recently completed my second course at the Galileo Galilei - I was so impressed by the first - lessons every day for a month - that I decided to return! Whether together with another student or individual tuition I cannot recommend my teacher Silvia, highly enough. Her knowledge, not only of the Italian language and indeed everything Italian, together with an approach that makes every lesson both interesting and fun, is not easy to find. Florence is, of course, an amazing place to explore, to find wonderful food and wine and to linger soaking up Italian culture.

I was not disappointed; the 5-star ratings are well deserved.I knew that significantly improving my Italian in one week was a tall order, yet my expectations were exceeded. Thanks to the exceptional pedagogical skill, intelligence and lively personality of my teacher, Sarah, I made significant progress as an advanced beginner. She was exactly the right person to help me improve in a such a short time. Our lessons felt like conversations between friends meeting for coffee.It was evident that the school had taken care in selecting a compatible teacher, and that she tailored her instruction to my needs and interests. Another personal touch that set the stage for a positive learning experience was being welcomed on the first morning by the school director Tania, in her office.These are aspects of Istituto Galileo Galilei that set it apart from others schools and help to account for its success. If you are searching for effective, made-to-measure Italian language learning, look no further.

I took two Italian language courses with Istituto Galilei in Spring 2023. The first was a three week one-on-one course, while the second was a two-week course in a small group. From the first time I contacted the school, I felt that I was in good hands - they helped me find an apartment and suggested a plan to fit my needs. When I arrived at the school, together with my teacher Eleonora I was able to make swift progress. She took care to bring material to class that always pushed my level a bit further, and also helped me practice a telephone call to the doctor's office when I needed one. During my second course with Luca, having already a more sound acquaintance with the language, we studied Italian culture and geography, as the group requested. Both teachers shared from their knowledge much more than just the language and were a pleasure to meet.Throughout my entire stay, Giulia and Tatiana were always kind and offered help with whatever I needed.I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to learn the language (and much more) to enroll at Istituto Galilei.
