Tempio circolare ieroniano

I believe this could possibly be the long lost tomb of Archimedes, as it matches the historical account of it's location (Cicero), just beyond the old city gate, as well as it's shape. The fact that it is a circular structure is of geometrical significance, Archimedes having been among the first to calculate an accurate approximation of pi, etc. It is worth mentioning that a previously uncovered tomb was erroniously attributed, proven instead to be a Roman columbarium from the first century A.D., which doesn't match the timeline like this structure does. It would therefore be worth excavating this site further. If it did prove to be the burial site of one of the greatest mathematicians of all time, it would be an extraordinary find!
