Wheel Tours - Rome Golf Cart Tours - The Coolest way to see Rome

Five of us, including my 91 year old mother, took the 2.5 hour City Center tour with Martin on June 11. Martin was a knowledgable guide, able to answer our questions and give lots of interesting details about the sites we saw. He was very attentive to the needs of my mother, getting as close as possible to hop off locations or staying with her as others ventured farther than she could walk.

Four weeks before our vacation to Rome, I broke my big toe. With the entire city being a museum to explore there was no way I could endure the pain of endless walking and standing in lines. Luckily, my friend told me about Wheel tours!Not only did we zip around the crowded city in comfort and ease but we learned so much from Martin and his guide team. They were extremely knowledgeable and entertaining at the same time. It was a blast!!Thanks guys for creating such an unforgettable experience!

Martini and his associate were super awesome guides. Not only does he have a great sense of humor and make super funny remarks well taking you around the city.On top of that the amazing gelato made the experience 10x better and the whole experience was just a hoot!!

Great tour and very knowledgeable and funny tour guide. The Catacombs & historic Rome tour were fabulous. We saw so many places, the golf cart was perfect. Easy access, great visability, any time again. The catacombs were super interesting, although picture taking was not allowed. Thank you for a great tour. Next time more golf cart tours. Also e-mobility is great!

We had a 3 hour tour with Martin this morning and loved it! He was safe and very knowledgeable. They even had wireless ear pieces to help you hear his narration. We saw so many interesting parts of the city. I highly recommend this especially for an overview of the city. Just a note. This tour doesn't allow you to go inside of museums ect so keep that in mind.

We are American travelers wanting to see the most of Rome in a short time… Only having 7 days in the city, and knowing that there is so much to see and do in Rome, we felt there was no way to do it all. We were referred to Wheel Tours by a great friend and our tour guide was Jason. The knowledge that he had in theology, history, and especially the wealth of uncommon knowledge was absolutely exceptional. Our tour was literally mind blowing!! Jason gives a well-presented, articulate, and professional tour that is easily absorbed yet also heavy in historical content. I couldn’t imagine seeing Rome any other way. The golf cart tour is the best way to see Rome because of the amount of spots you can see in such a short period of time!! I can’t thank Martin and Jason enough for the tour, their recommendations on food and drink and the wealth of knowledge that was bestowed upon us. Highly recommend Rome evening city tour. Many other companies didn’t allow singles or duos but Wheel Tours did. Martin looked after us and kept the information flowing with interesting history and lots of humour. Even a bit of rain didn’t affect us as Wheel Tours literally had us covered in some rain ponchos and to top it off the gelato was delicious. Suggest you make this your first day in Roma as it sets you up for a great understanding of Roma’s streets. Highly recommend. Thank you Martin.

My wife and I showed up early at the Pantheon and the tickets were sold out. A woman approached us and said she has tickets for us and a guided tour for 15 euros and pay afterwards. The guide was a local woman (beautiful) who spoke good English and was passionate about it. At the end we tipped her 5 euros. She stated and recommended we book a golf cart tour of the catacombs. So we did. We later met the owner Martin who gave the tour. He was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of history the whole way narrating while driving six of us in two carts. Some of the time I couldn't quite understand what he said. I'm not sure if it was the equipment or the accent. Either way, it was a good 3-hour tour starting from the base location traveling to the catacombs in the golf cart and back.
