The service was extremely attentive and staff were very knowledgeable whether it came to wine or food. We had the 5 course taster menu as well as some delicious amuse bouche and extra deserts at the end. The presentation of the food was exceptional and the taste outstanding. Flavour combination were a mix of traditional and bold. A real treat on our holiday!

Se cercate un'esperienza sensoriale di alto livello questo è sicuramente il posto giusto. Esplosioni di sapore in bocca che amalgamano gusti lontani e vicini in una sinfonia che lascia in bocca la piacevolezza di tutti gli ingredienti. Servizio accurato, gentile e mai invadente. Mi meraviglio che ancora non abbia la stella. I prezzi sono molto alti, ma sicuramente adeguati all'offerta. Ritorneremo sicuramente

A MUST READ REVIEW!The atmosphere was tense. The waiter was hovering. The food was sadly not good. It was very expensive for the area.My dish came cold with a syringe which was very off putting.Please please if you’re like me and enjoy proper Italian food do not go here.We left hungry and went to our local for a pizza.2 stars are given to the lovely location, view and waitress.AND the wine was delicious and very fairly priced!WARNING** gnocchi comes as three balls BUT with lots of lovely shaved truffles on top.Thank you

Oggi sono tornato in un posto dove lo scorso agosto avevo gustato piatti incredibilmente belli e spudoratamente buoni. Oggi ho avuto la conferma che non è stato il caso ma bensì uno Chef molto preparato e oltremodo appassionato. Giornata incredibile….erano vent’anni che non mi alzavo da un tavolo così appagato. Questo locale non ha nulla da invidiare alle più blasonate firme della cucina italiana.

Highly recommend this restaurant/experience! Worthy of a Michelin star food and service! Attentive, excellent selection of wine and a menu with choices to die for! Great choice if you are in Sienna for a daytime or stay. Must try!

The Sosta del Cavaliere is a high-end gourmet experience. It is ambitious but not pretentious: the service is friendly and personal but efficient and correct at the same time. Regarding the food, it is as close to perfect as could be. We were delighted that they were able to adapt almost the entire menu to gluten-free. The pasta looked and tasted home-made and the desserts were great. We both had the duck breasts for main, which were just the right shade of pink.Altogether a great meal and thanks to Leonardo and his staff. On the list for a repeat visit whenever we are in the area.

Cucina di altissimo livello, servizio impeccabile e un ambiente di classe ma molto confortevole. La passione si vede in ogni dettaglio, dai piatti alla carta dei vini, dall'orto alla scelta degli arredamenti. È stata una bellissima esperienza, un viaggio culinario. Bravi tutti!!!
