VILLAGE FOREST SCHOOL

I can't say enough great things about this school and its community. My child has been attending for 2 years now, and every year we are impressed with the dedication and care that the teachers and staff show to their students. The curriculum is well-rounded and Waldorf inspired, and the small class sizes allow for personalized attention and a real sense of community.But it's not just the academics that make this school special - it's the people. The families and staff truly care about each other, and there is a real sense of camaraderie and support. From school events to extracurricular activities, there is always something going on that brings everyone together.Overall, I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a nurturing and supportive community that values education and personal growth.

Ogni volta che vado a prendere mia figlia é come se mi ritagliassi un momento di felicità. Posto molto bello, tante persone amiche e sorridenti e insegnanti sempre pronti a spendere una parola per raccontare la meravigliosa giornata di felicità della nostra bambina.

They took a prepayment for three months as deposit, which never got returned to us despite themselves admitting to us per email that they forgot to tell us that this payment is non refundable. We left after two weeks and lost all our money. Most alternative schools do a trial period and if they don't do a trial period then they don't really ask for 3 months of payment in advance. They clearly did not care and left us in a bad situation, but they claim to have community spirit. It was a hard location to arrive at and there was hardly any accomodation around and no help whatsoever from this community"."

Questo è il nostro terzo anno alla Village forest school. I miei bambini frequantano la quarta elementare e l'asilo e la nostra vita è cambiata in meglio da quando siamo lì. Il personale è attento, preparato e amorevole. L'ambiente è sano, in natura e impregnato di bellezza, il programma alimentare unico e salutare. I fondatori hanno creato questo paradiso innanzitutto per i loro figli e per coronare il sogno di una scuola perfetta per i loro standard ed oltre ad esserci riusciti hanno allargato il sogno a molte altre famiglie e per questo sarò sempre grata. Anche la comunità dei genitori è stata una fortuna: siamo uniti e ci aiutiamo e supportiamo come una famiglia e perché no, ci divertiamo!

I can't praise this school enough. My children attended the summer camp. The school provides such a caring and warm environment. The children get plenty of outside time, nutritious food and fully participate in engaging activities. The school was helpful in finding accommodations for those visiting and had lovely orientation events to create a feeling of community, no matter how brief your stay. Just wonderful.

One year at the school and we feel we have been there forever. It’s difficult to remember life before this move. We moved from London, so a huge change to move to the countryside. I am English and moving to a foreign country also felt daunting but once we arrived the transition felt almost effortless as we were all immediately enveloped into the warm, loving community. Couldn’t wish for more of a social life, actually sometimes as a closet introvert I almost feel I need to take a break from it at times but everyone is so genuine and kind it’s difficult to say no to any of the invitations! But it’s not just social, my partner is often away so it’s been so wonderful to see how other families will constantly offer to babysit, take children for play dates, run errands for myself or other parents who are in need. We attended the London steiner school before and they always encouraged the community to support each other but I’ve never experienced it on this scale before, it feels like a big family.My 8 year old boy and 5 year old girl are thriving. The teachers are extremely caring and nurturing. For me they strike the perfect balance between structured learning and learning through free play and exploration.The food program is amazing, it’s a wonderful feeling to know my children come home full of delicious nutritious food.The founders are learning and improving the school every day. It’s amazing to see how within the year we have been there the school has grown and evolved so much. The growth and daily strengthening of all aspects of the school are testament to the massive efforts of the founding families. They are founders of the school -but first and foremost they are parents who want the best for their own children who attend. You can see that they pour their heart and soul into it.We can’t wait for many more happy years at this school. I an thrilled they plan to expand it until it goes right the way until 18 years old as I want my children to experience this little piece of paradise for as long as possible. Thank you VFS for all you have done for my family, you have changed our lives and many others- keep working hard- we appreciate you very much!

Che dire. Da pochi mesi mia figlia frequenta questa stupenda realtà e a volte ancora mi sembra un sogno! Molto più che una scuola.... un posto unico nel mondo! In cui si condividono valori, sogni e buon umore!
