Hotel con personale competente in un ambiente elegante e raffinato, ambiente eccelso che riesce a esprimere la bellezza infinita della città di Venezia, vista meravigliosa dalla terrazza. Posso dire di aver frequentato l’hotel Monaco durante l’orario di aperitivo, a pranzo e a cena e mi sono sempre trovato splendidamente, cura dei dettagli minuziosa e certosina. Menù a pranzo e cena oneroso ma mai esagerato,servizio eccellente. Consiglio a tutti anche solo un aperitivo in luogo magico e ben curato, nel cuore della città più bella del mondo.

Venice fine dining on the waterfront just next to Hotel Monaco. The food was great and impeccably prepared. Servers in coats w ties, very old school. The tiaramisu was the best so far in a week in Italy.Very expensive $100 person without alcohol.My biggest complaint is all the Europeans smoking on the patio (where the restaurant is located) during dinner. This wouldn't happen in the states, the table next to us had 5 smokers at the table, all smoking at the same time, truly disgusting.

We went here for a cocktail after a day touring the city. The wait staff was amazing and quite professional. We had an amazing view of the canal and didn’t feel any rush to leave. It was also a great spot for people watching as tourists get on and off the gondolas!Highly recommend!

I love this place and am annoyed at some of the negative reviews. My husband and I love early breakfast on the patio in late March or April. Or drinks in the cozy bar at night.The view is the absolute best in Venice encompassing the Punta, and across the Basino, Zitelle and San Georgio. In the morning and at night feast your eyes on pure beauty. A large gondola stop is right beyond the patio: fun to see the gondoliers get ready to go to work in the morning.The waiters are formal, not unfriendly. Learn to tell the difference.Those craving cheap drinks should get take-out and go stand on the Riva.

I absolutely LOVE this place! I’d previously visited this restaurant a few years ago with my family and last weekend I went back with a group of 15 friends to celebrate my birthday. The staff was amazing and went out of their way to accommodate our requests (a huge and special thanks to Patrizio who was a star!). Food is really delicious and the views are to die for. Really good value for the whole experience also! We’ll definitely be back again!

Na betreden van het terras werden we onmiddellijk eraf gewuifd met de mededeling “geen plek vrij”Schouderophalend vertrokken we weer, maar halverwege werden we weer terug geroepen met de woorden : how can I let you go with your beautiful bags . De ober zag aan onze tassen dat we inkopen hadden gedaan bij Hermes en Loro Piana.We waren ineens wel welkom????!Vertwijfelend liepen we terug en werden aan een tafel gezet (die al leeg stond)De obers liepen ijverig rond, passeerde 6 keer onze tafel maar maakte geen enkel oogcontact.We probeerden met onze hand telkens op te steken, maar echter geen resultaat.Ondertussen was er een boot gearriveerd met naar wat wij denken “bekende terugkerende gasten van het hotel.Zij werden meteen vriendelijk te woord gestaan en ook weer werd er ijverig gezicht naar een tafel die vrij was, deze was er echter niet meer.Wij probeerden weer eens contact te maken, maar wederom mislukt.De maat was vol na 15 minuten .We zijn opgestaan en vertrokken.Nu was er een tafel vrij en konden de nieuwe gasten zitten.Er was ook niemand die vroeg waarom we weg gingen…Tip: er zijn genoeg restaurants waar je wel terecht kan.Hier voor ons NOOIT MEERCiao!

Absolute WUCHERPREISE: ein kleiner Softdrink für 10€, kleine Tasse Kaffee für 8€ und ACHTUNG vor den Homemade" = Supermarkt Keksen für 12€!Service war bei uns zwar gut und die Lage ist schön.Aber absolut keine Empfehlung dort einzukehren. Abzocke!!!"

la terrazza dell'hotel Monaco Gran Canal è fatta per un aperitivo al tramonto di fronte a Punta della Dogana guardando le prime luci accendersi sull'isola di San Giorgio.qui potete trovare il KIR (vino e cassis) ottimamente servito con mandorle tostate.

Absolutely faultless service - definitely the best service I’ve experienced in Italy so far. I had dinner here with my wife and children and the staff went out of there way to ensure that we were comfortable and the kids were happy. This included cooking a custom pasta dish for one of my kids who is a picky eater. The food was amazing, the wine was great, and the location is right on the grand canal. We’ll definitely be going back!
