We had ordered shahee paneer, daal fry tarka, rice and naan as take away. When we reached our house and started eating, we realised that the daal fry tarka was rotten. The rice was too little to be one portoin. The naan were extremely dry. The shahee paneer would probably be the only okay tasting dish. The service in the restaurant wasn't good either. The owner seemed a bit arrogant and wasn't that welcoming. We've also gone to other restaurants and waited for our take-away, but they'd still give us water or some of their complimentary snacks but they didn't even bother given us those. I genuinly wouldn't recommend the restaurant to anyone, but if you want to try it then do it on your own risk.

We were super hungry after visiting the basilica in 40 degrees heat and we found this restaurant very close to it, like only 5 minutes of walk. The restaurant opens at 12 and serves only tawa chapati in the afternoon. Malai kofta was nice. We did not order anything to drink, because as they say water is more expensive in Europe than beer or wine. Overall the taste was nice with very Indian decor of the restaurant.

Siamo tornati per la seconda sera consecutiva perchè piacevolmente sorpresi. Fatevi consigliare dal gestore che è molto cortese e un grande intenditore di cibo indiano. Abbiamo preso dall’antipasto al dolce (passando per un buonissimo lassie alla rosa!!) tutto spettacolare, davvero squisito, rapporto qualità prezzo impareggiabile. Senza dubbio miglior ristorante indiano a Roma , vi assicuro ne ho provati…

The attitude of the guy was not good at the beginning as He forced us to take the buffet as he said it is difficult to cook only for the two of us. It was actually left over buffet from Indian tourist group tour from Cochin. He charged 18 euros per person. Since the food was OK we are giving 3 stars. There is no other Indian restaurant right next to Vatican City.

The quantity isn't sufficient and the portions are small. Not the most authentic Indian cuisine but not bad in any sense.

We went in expecting not much. We chose the buffet. The rotis were fresh and crumbly, the vegetables were earthy and the chicken was rich and creamy.The only hitch was that the yogurt was a tad bit too gooey to my liking.But, it was overall a grand bouffage!
