La Mascareta-Original hand made Venice Masks

Best place to get a Venezia carnivale maschera.The masks are top quality with elegant details, and the shop master is also extremely passionate about his work. He kindly explained us how masks are made and what are the meanings behind the shapes.For sure at €60~ Handmade masks are not cheap, but I would recommend this shop to every one visiting Venice.

Original designs by local traditional mask maker with amazing high quality craftsmanship. He was really helpful and friendly and nothing like other touristic mask places in central Venice.

Beautifully made masks by the master him self. It was very interesting to hear the history and stories behind the masks. The artist was very friendly and skillfull.I highly recommend everyone to visit his store.

This was the BEST! The masks are so beautiful and when I picked one out the owner got really excited and showed me the process of making the mask. He was so kind and helpful ♥️ best way to end my Venice trip. Prices are super good, as well, especially considering they’re all handmade and there’s so much effort put in to each one.

We walked by this store several times and everytime we were overwhelmed with how beautiful the masks were. Finally we decided that we had to buy them and ended up going in and buying three. The owner/maker runs the shop and was the nicest guy. He makes all of the masks onsite and was excited to talk about how they are made. Prices are extremely reasonable considering they are handmade.

Io e il mio compagno dopo aver girato centinaia di negozi di maschere artigianali abbiamo deciso di acquistare le nostre alla Mascareta, il più bello tra tutti quelli visti. Il proprietario è colui che dietro al banco di lavoro ci ha fatto vedere le tecniche che stanno alla base della creazione delle maschere che abbiamo scelto, con una squisitezza che non abbiamo trovato da nessun'altra parte a Venezia. Se dovessimo tornare (speriamo per il Carnevale!) sicuramente passeremo di lì. Grazie ancora per la bellissima esperienza :) Se state leggendo questa recensione fate tappa obbligatoria qui, non ve ne pentirete.

La mejor tienda de artesanía de todo Venecia. Al entrar, el señor está haciendo sus máscaras. Precios más que razonables teniendo en cuenta el trabajo que hay detrás. Es un auténtico encanto y te prepara la máscara perfectamente para que no sufra daños en el viaje.Hemos tenido mucha suerte de haberla encontrado.

Sehr schöner Laden etwas versteckt in den Gassen mit super Masken. Der Eigentümer stellt die Masken direkt vor Ort selbst her. Sehr schöne Auswahl zu super Preisen. Perfektes Geschenk.

Maschere di qualità nettamente superiore ad altri negozi incontrati, per dettagli, pulizia e cura delle decorazioni. L'artigiano, gentilissimo, ci ha spiegato e fatto vedere parte del processo di produzione. Una visita è assolutamente consigliata.
