Outstanding hotel. We managed to get the last room after our flight back to the UK was cancelled. The hotel design and facilities are all superb. Its right next to the beach (and there are some more superb beache within easy walking distance). Lovely room with sea view. Professional service. Excellent dinner outside, overlooking the beach. Our return flight wasn't until 8pm but the hotel let us use the hotel facilities for the whole day without any extra charges, and then allowed us to use the spa to shower before leaving for the airport. Thanks! A wonderful place, I hope we can return one day...

WOW what an incredible hotel, with warm and welcoming staff. My husband and I stayed for our honey moon and could not fault one thing. From the moment we checked in, we were treated with respect and kindness. The rooms were so clean, well maintained and the bathroom is stunning also the view on the balcony over looking the pool and the beach was stunning. The food- breakfast & lunch was always fresh and delicious. My husband planned a surprise private in room dining dinner, which the staff went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect for us. The private beach for hotel guests only and the boat hire is fantastic what a bonus!!!It is so quiet, private and super clean which is what I like when staying at hotels and the little cat Cappuccino that lives there is a sweet heart.A special mention to SERGIO & MARIO who were so very kind and caring towards us.We will be back ☺️☺️☺️

Just got back from a weeks stay here half board.Positives:- beach and pool is lovely- food is good but not amazing, buffet for breakfast and a la carte for evening meal- staff are excellent and really helpful- very clean and has the boutique feel- grounds really well looked after- amazing sunset when eating evening meal but wasps a problemNegatives:- you can’t walk anywhere from the hotel, no shops or restaurants close by and really hilly.- they do not leave water in the room, only on the first day and it’s 4 euros for a bottle of water which is extortionate. When it’s 38 degrees this is not acceptable- lacking real Italian food on the evening meal, some nights hit and miss. I just really wanted Italian pizza or simple pasta dishes. I think they are trying too hard to be fancy.- breakfast buffet pretty basic, needs pancakes and fresh omelettes.- drinks really expensive and lunch really overpriced for what is effectively average pool bar food- no hot drinks station in the room- evening meal doesn’t start until 7.30pm which was too late for us, I know Europeans eat late though.

My recent stay at the hotel was a disappointment. While some staff members were helpful, the overall experience fell short. The restaurant service was slow and inattentive, with mediocre food lacking flavor and attention to detail. We even found hair in one of the dishes, which was off-putting.On one evening, we couldn't find a table for dinner, and the lack of assistance only added to the frustration. With no nearby restaurants, we had to spend an extra 50 euros to reach the city center. In summary, this hotel failed to meet expectations. The restaurant's poor service, lackluster food, and hygiene issue were disappointing. I cannot recommend it for a satisfying stay.

Looks great in pictures, but up close this property is mass-market cruise ship quality, rather than a luxury hotel. Poor management, buffet-quality food, and institutional rooms will make you regret the booking. Read on about our experience:We arrived at 1200 and were allowed an early check-in. Upon arriving at the room, the air-conditioning A/C was not working. We called the front desk and went to the front desk. They informed us they were working on it. An hour later we went back to the front desk and they informed us a block of rooms had A/C out. So, we sat in the lobby and by the pool.At 2100, the A/C was still not working and we went back to the front desk. They informed us that the A/C would not be fixed and they did not know when it would be fixed. We asked about accommodating us in a room with A/C and they said the hotel was fully booked. We then asked what they could do and we were informed they could do nothing. We asked for the managers (Marino is one) and they had both gone home. I can't understand how a management team would just go home with a guest situation like ours without talking to us and giving us options. They just assumed we would deal with it.Fortunately, an attentive front desk person (Carolina) called the managers, and Marino only then offered to pay for us to stay one night in a dumpy hotel. When I say dumpy, I mean dumpy. We were not going to stay in a dump when we were paying 500 euros a night. In the end, we left at midnight and went to a luxury hotel 45 minutes away. The highlight was the attention from Carolina at the front desk and the bartender who gave us drinks and snacks while we were figuring things out.The property does have wonderful views and a nice common area. It also has stable and fast internet. This is NOT a luxury property. It is a cruise ship on land quality. Skip this place and go somewhere else.

I would definitely not recommend this hotel at all. The staff is the worst you can find. They don’t care at all about you and look at you in a haughtily way. You can tell that the staff hate their job.The room is really noise and you are probably going to wake up many times at night. Be also prepared to hear some loud music nights in the week (near the hotel their is a house that launch some huge parties). If you use all the shampoos and all the shower gel, be ready to ask some new one at the reception as they won’t replace you with new ones. The bed is also really cheap and not comfortable at all. Without a car, it is impossible to to access the hotel. One night during our stay, a member of the staff with the number plate FG 3Z 1MH, on the road to the hotel, stuck behind our car for 8 minutes, making us headlight calls so that we could go faster to the hotel. Arriving at the hotel, he parked in the staff parking lot. Is it a way to treat your customer? Also overpriced, we took a small bottle of water, as the forgot to give us one in the room and they charged us 8 euro for that. The breakfast was not good, nearly nothing to eat and if you want an omelette made in the kitchen with certain ingredients be ready to pay 10 euro.Definitely not a luxury hotel and I would definitely not go back for that type of price.

Beautiful hotel, superb staff and private boutique feel. Absolutely loved our stay here! The location is stunning, the beach, ocean and pool are private and make for a lovely romantic getaway, although family friendly as well. We enjoyed the breakfast and restaurant, we recommend half board, as it would get expensive eating at the restaurant at night without it. Sergio and Mario were extra friendly and attentive. The aesthetic and design of the hotel and furnishings is beautiful, very calming and deserving of four stars. I fell in love with one of the two cats who call the resort home, a kitten who I named Mia. If you are a cat lover, she can usually be found in front of the restaurant by the big tree. She needs bribes to warm up to you, but loves scratches after your earn her love with snacks. The spa and massage is extraordinary very serene and relaxing. We wished we stayed longer and would highly recommend Cala Cuncheddi to anyone considering it!

My partner and I was at this hotel to celebrate our anniversary. The first impression wasn’t so great as I tried to reach the hotel via email 3 times asking for a restaurant referral to celebrate our anniversary. Didn’t hear anything back. On arrival there were 2 receptionists which didn’t gave us attention. One was busy with a client but the other one was just listening to the conversation. The reception wasn’t very good, nothing was explained, everything I asked she ask me to find out tomorrow. For the SPA she gave wrong information. Not a very good first impression. When we pass by to go to the restaurant the same reception was on her private phone. I have a mix feeling about the service as some of the staff was very helpful such as “Daniela” from the reception next morning and “Marta” from the SPA. They were both friendly, professional and helpful. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on our arrival the the second meal which was pasta dish was cold. For the price they were charging the standards should be higher. The night we arrive I ask for a iron to ironing our cloth the night reception replied I need to ask next day. Next day I found out they don’t give guess iron for security reason if I needed something iron they could do it for me. Big mistake as I sent 6 pieces of clothing to be iron and specific showed the reception one dress and a shirt that I need for that evening for our special dinner. She ignored my introduction and sent all the clothes as a express service which they charge double and it wasn’t informed to me. My bill to iron a few pieces of clothing was €90 euros, kind of a joke. The bed isn’t as comfortable.Breakfast was good, but always the same things. If you want different style of eggs you need to pay €10. A smoothie €16. Super over price. The location of the place is beautiful, the spa area is fabulous. For the price charged it isn’t worth.
