Rome Airport Taxi - Welcome Pickups

Valerio was very kind, accommodating, and quick to respond to questions. He helped us with our bags, was happy to answer questions about Rome during our drive to the airport, and knew right where to drop us off curbside to make our departure from the airport as easy as possible. Would highly recommend this driver!

We booked a transport to take us from our apartment to the airport in Rome and everything was perfect. The driver showed up early, his van was in great condition - all 6 of us was very comfortable, and he was courteous, quick and efficient. I would gladly use this service again

We used this service to travel to the Port of Civitavecchia from Rome. Our driver was very friendly and arrived early. Fast comfortable (air conditioned) drive right up to the cruise ship. Highly recommended!

We needed a very early transfer and couldn't find someone. Welcome pickups came through and the service was perfect. The driver was on time, communicated several times before and on that morning to ensure there were no mishaps. Highly recommend them.

Fantastic service in Rome. With the airport and rail strikes, for a little extra money, you get treated like a VIP on vacation. And yes, you deserve to be treated like a VIP cuz you’re on vacation. Prices are very reasonable. My driver, Max, was fantastic! Will be using this service in the near future.

We are sadly shocked at how terrible our service was last night. Though there were many parts of the service that were disappointing, the aggressive rudeness that not only we experienced but our accommodation manager experienced, was just terrible.Our driver met us with barely a hello. Every other driver we have ever had in 20 years has offered to assist with our bags. This driver walked off rapidly ahead whilst looking at his phone the whole time, while my husband dragged two large bags and I had my son and another large bag to contend with. He walked us a large distance and had no regard for pavements and accessibility of rolling the bags, storming ahead as we negotiated gutters etc, barely waiting. He walked us up a one way street near a parking exit where my son nearly got hit by a car. He didn’t bother to assist.Upon close arrival to our destination, he stopped suddenly at 3-5 mins walk away from our location, in a busy, packed lane with cobble stones, insisting he can go no further and we have to walk. Again, I draw your attention to the three large bags and small child we had with us at 10.30pm. I referred to the map and he rudely and aggressively insisted it was impossible.I called our accommodation manger who kindly spoke to him and instructed him on where to go. The driver was clearly rude, aggressive and dismissive to him. We refused to get out of the car until he brought us closer and more safely to our accommodation. He eventually agreed and our accommodation manager met him at a closer point to direct him.I again witnessed the driver be rude and aggressive to the kind manager, who happened to be Filipino. I checked with the manager who confirmed the driver was quite horrible to him.We would never be able to trust or use this service again.EDIT: They have claimed to reach out to us. We have never heard from them, their customer service etc. making this whole experience even worse.

The driver was o time and so friendly! As we drove to airport he pointed out different landmarks. Highly recommend

Great experience overall, I used the service three times over one weekend in Rome. Two out of three times were perfect with nothing more to say. However, my wife was due to be picked up from the airport at 02:30am but her flight was delayed 45 minutes which wasn’t accounted for by the driver so he told me he was leaving at 03:30, fortunately the driver was great and made a real effort to find my wife before 03:30 and could tell the stress in my wife’s voice and they were eventually in the car together at 03:37, the driver was great and i spoke to him a lot that early morning but the fact that his system hadn’t registered the delay despite being known by the airline and passengers a full 12 hours in advance was concerning. My flight however was delayed 15 minutes and this was shown on their system.Overall, cannot fault the drivers it is a fantastic service for the peace of mind, if not a little pricey but be careful with any expectations that delays are known to the driver and make contact at the earliest opportunity to ensure a smooth pickup.

Great professional company! Website easy to work with and responses were accurate and timely. Driver (Davide) was on time for pick-up from Rome airport. Very friendly and very helpful. I definitely will use this company in the future.

I have used Welcome Pickups in Lisbon, Barcelona and now Rome. The drivers are always on time and very professional. Ensuring that the ride is always comfortable for me and my fellow passengers. Best part, they are so reasonable!! In Rome it was cheaper than a taxi and they meet me and helped with my luggage! You will never get more reasonably priced service anywhere else!
