Boutique Borsalino

Incredibly rude staff!My husband brought from America a vintage Borsalino purchased at this very store by his grandfather some 50+years ago hoping to have the hat reconditioned. We were treated so rudely that it quickly became apparent these were shop girls who had minimal knowledge of the history of this fine hat maker and even less desire in converting a prospect with money already allocated to be spent at your store into a happy customer. Borsalino has a fine product historically and the experience of purchasing one should be positive. As a couple we purchased multiple hats at JJ in New York and that experience was FAR more enjoyable. Most of these purchases were Borsalinos notable because my husband's predecessors wore your product and he felt brand loyalty UNTIL TODAY.Such a shame. Borsalino should be embarrassed as to how it descended as a brand. We all know there are other milliners creating an equal or better product. This name no longer represents what it did--perhaps because you no longer employ professionals.

The service was exceptional. I was made comfortable by the shop's owner who took the time to show me nearly every fedora in her shop in order to help me find the right Borsalino to fit my head and wallet! An excellent shopping experience. Go there if to can!

Smaller than expected, and we were shopping too late in the season to find exactly what we had been looking for, but the very nice English lady helped my wife pick a nice hat, and was very patient with us we tried different things. Of course, we were the only customers in the place at the time. Will probably come back if we can get to Rome again.

I went in looking for a match to a hat that I purchased 25 years ago. The sales person (the same nice English lady to whom everyone refers) just asked me the color and immediately found the duplicate. It is a spectacular hat, well made, and makes the wearer look his best without drawing undo attention to itself.

Solid selection. One of the larger Borsalino shops in Italy. Excellent service. You might be able to snag a discount if you’re buying a Montecristi Panama hat. Don’t expect it on anything else.
