Chez Barone Cooking School

We truly enjoyed our experience at Chez Barone. Such a fun day! Everyone was great from driver, owner, chef, to assistant. A beautiful location as well. Highly recommended it when in Sorrento.

A Wonderful Time!!We had a wonderful day at Chez Barone Cooking School. First we were picked up in Sorrento by the owner, Fabio, who drove us up to his amazing Villa in the hills above Sorrento while telling us about the area, the lemons and olives agriculture, etc. We found out that the rest of the group had cancelled just an hour before and they would still put on the class for just two of us! We really appreciated that they did not cancel on us. We were warmly welcomed! We worked with the chef in the beautiful outdoor kitchen surrounded by olive trees to make pizzas, lemon tart dessert, a demonstration of mozzerella, and sorbetto. The wine flowed and we had a great time! The view is stunning, the food amazing! Communication was clear, the price was fair for this experience. Highly recommend!

If you are going to Italy and will be in Sorrento and you are thinking about doing a cooking class definitely do this class with Chez Barone. Our family did and it was the highlight of our trip. I was wondering what it would be like when I signed us up. Most things tourists like to do in touristy areas are more expensive and cheaper quality. Not Chez Barone. The people, the food, the experience were all first class. Even down to the aprons and hats the quality was great. The driver was out sick so the owner picked us up (and dropped us back off). We had such good conversation and good laughs with him. He has such a good spirit about him. Barbara was very helpful with the communication and arrangements. The head chef (I know I am going to misspell her name...Marie) and the sous chef (Anna) were the best teachers and great cooks. They interacted with us in such personable ways and the time spent was like with people we had known before. Thanks to everyone at Chez Barone who made it a night to always remember.

My son and I did the pizza and pasta class at the villa in the hills. Best experience ever! My 15 yr old couldn't eat all the food. Great pizza, pasta, and tiramisu. You don't need years of experience to enjoy this class. The chef really knows how to cook and teach.

We thoroughly enjoyed this cooking school experience! Beautiful setting in a hilltop villa, gracious host, great hands-on instruction by an accomplished chef, and wonderful conversation with other guests. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Sorrento region!

My wife and I did the cooking school yesterday. It was fantastic. The venue, the people and the food. Highly recommend.

Such an amazing experience! We learned how to cook pasta and pizza while getting to sip on wine. The view was an added bonus. Would highly recommend!!
