Total relaxation and beautiful property. Owner goes out of his way to make sure each guests enjoys their stay. Particularly helpful in suggesting places to visit off the beaten track. Breakfast is served outside in the beautiful garden and it's generous and varied. And the views? Amazing We will definitely be back next year.

We spent Easter weekend, hosted by Alec and his exceptional hospitality.We requested a starter hamper ahead of our arrival, which was full of the most delicious Italian items, and was enough for our whole stay.The daily ‘Kings’ breakfast is such a feast and a pleasure. Will we back… there is no doubt about that!!

Located on top of a hill overlooking a valley and small river, Bellaugello offers spacious accommodations, a beautiful infinity pool and simply excellent hospitality. Highly recommended for a well deserved escape from the daily hustle and bustle. It’s out in the countryside, so you do need your own transportation. Occasional dinner for all guests, a kitchenette allows you to prepare your own meals when you prefer to stay in.

Salvo la piscina che è bella, il resto è tutto relativo. Poco adatto a clientela italiana, strana concezione del luxury. Tanti sorrisi, poca empatia. Siamo andati via prima prima del tempo.

Hospitality and freedom. Beautiful quiet place on a south hillside. Nice infinity pool overlooking the valley. Large tastful furnished rooms. Two rooms are equipped with an extra outdoor shower for the ultimate feeling of ultimate joy. Alec, the owner, will do everything to make you feel at home.

Siamo stati ad agosto. Il posto ha del fiabesco, un luogo dove la natura la fa da padrone a pochi chilometri dalla splendida Gubbio. Relax e Pricacy assicurati. Camere di lusso. Il proprietario, scozzese ma che parla benissimo l'italiano è stato una persona meravigliosa, elegante, colta, a tratti geniale, attenta e discreta in tutto. Ha saputo farci sentire come se fossimo a casa nostra. Da tornarci sicuramente. Unico difetto trovato, essendo in piena campagna ed a metà agosto, nonostante la proprietà abbia fatto di tutto per limitare il fenomeno anche con apposite trappole, i tafani in certi momenti erano veramente fastidiosi, specialmente in piscina.

Beautiful setting, friendly staff, lovely breakfast. A place where we felt comfortable being ourselves.The pool is to die for, and the gardens are so well cared for. The surrounding towns are easy to reach for a little sightseeing or some authentic Umbrian food.A great little gay guesthouse - highly recommended!

The place is splendid. Alec is such a kind and generous human being. He really loves taking care of his guests and puts a lot of work in running this place, which feels more like a home than a guest house from the moment you step in. Mauro is a loving and kind friend who always has a smile on his face. He also came back to give us a massage on his day off. These people make you believe that there are still great human beings out there. We've been there 3 times and I can't wait to go back again. Much love for you guys and thanks again for everything. What an extraordinary visit we had at Bellaugello Guest House. The setting is stunning, the accommodations are lovely, and the pool is to die for. But most impressive is the level of warm and welcoming hospitality. Alec is the perfect host who can make every guest feel at home, while Mauro handles the details of breakfast and service flawlessly.One of the highlights of our trip was the group dinner where all guests in the Inn were able to share a meal on the terrace, lined with lavender and rosemary, and views of the valley at dusk. Morning coffee on our private terrace watching the fog burn off the Umbrian hills. Perfection.We can't wait until the world is right side up again and we can travel again to to Bellaugello!!

This incredible guesthouse needs no review as in some months it's already booked for 2023!! That is because it's in an unbelievably beautiful location, is immaculately maintained, and a 2 week holiday there felt like a wonderful MONTH!!This is achieved because Alec the owner and his team take care of everything: from the fresh clean pool with its amazing vista, to the full, locally sourced breakfasts where a new treat appears daily. For gay men 45+ this HAS to be the best guesthouse in Europe....
