Gems of Venice

Lors de notre séjour à Venise nous avons été acheter une magnifique bague certie d'un topaze dans cette boutique, nous avons beaucoup hésité, et la conseillère a bien prit son temps de nous conseiller et de nous laisser essayer plusieurs modèles afin que nous trouvions LA bague, ma seule déception vient du fait que je ne me soit pas méfier mais avec le temps très lourds, j'avais la main gonflée, alors la bague qui taillait parfaitement taille 14 sur place, est beaucoup trop grande une fois rentrée en France, je suis un peu triste il va falloir que j'essaie de la faire rétrécir, mais c'est une erreur de ma part, si comme nous vous y allez en période ou vous avez les mains qui gonflé faites bien attention à avoir une de vos bague habituelle avec vous afin de vérifier la taille ne vous fiez pas à la taille sur place, à bientôt et merci mille fois à gems of Venice !

Une boutique où nous avons plaisir à revenir chaque année lors d'un séjour à Venise. Les bijoux sont magnifiques, de style vénitien, en or ou argent, sertis de pierres précieuses et semi-précieuses. Il y en a pour tous les budgets. Le charme du style vénitien est unique et intemporel. Il opère immédiatement : il est discret mais on ne peut que le remarquer.

I bought a ring that was supposed to be opal, emeralds and diamonds, I took it to another jeweler and he just informed me the opal is plastic. I payed 3900 euros for plastic.

Je m'y suis offerte une bague pour mon anniversaire. Superbe, très originale. La dame sur place est d'une patience inouïe et tout à fait charmante. Cerise sur le gâteau : elle vous conseille en français, entre autres. J'y retournerai !!!

Gorgeous, high-quality, one-of-a-kind pieces. You won’t find jewelry like this anywhere else in Venice. Very happy with my purchases. Angela was terrific to deal with — very professional & knowledgeable about gems. Highly recommend!

I have gone into this beautiful store on numerous occasions and the owner has always been extremely patient as I tried on numerous items, and bought nothing. No hard sell, but lots of interesting information about the pieces I was looking at. Today I was there again, but was very upset about a recent event in my life. Angela, (the owner) couldn’t have been more understanding or accessible. I told her my budget up front and she showed me items that were in that price range. I looked around and what I ultimately chose was a very inexpensive piece. It felt right and the price was not a deciding factor. Angela was not angry, disappointed, or upset that I spent so little. She was pleased I found an item in her store that I felt was right for me. I can’t recommend Gems of Venice highly enough. The quality and selection of their pieces and the service and pleasant attitude are beyond excellent. The honest prices for what you purchase, be it gold, gold plated, or silver, (and you will be told exactly what you are buying) make this a special store indeed. I worked in the jewellery business for years and know my precious and semi precious stones and in this shop what you think you are buying is indeed what you are getting.

FAKE FAKE FAKEPlease be aware there precious stones they claim is real are 100% NOT, nothing there is pure gold as they claim it is definitely gold plated. Beware of these shops they are alot in Venice and they claim it is original, I am a jeweller expert and I know what I am talking about, I went in because I wanted to have a look and I was shocked with the prices they gave and false information regarding their pieces. Nothing is real, and I was not surprised when I read the review of the poor women who bought a ring for €3900 and it turned to be plastic (refer to the review below) SHAME SHAME SHAME.

Merveilleuse boutique de bijoux précieux pour tout les budgets. Mon mari m'a offert une jolie bague émaillée de noir avec une belle agate verte au centre, inspiration art déco. Merci ! (Je reviendrai vous voir avant mon départ, sans mon mari et enfants ☺️)

Jewellery shop with an eclectic and exotic range of gems. The staff all speak English and are very helpful. Angela the owner has over 40 years experience in Jewellery business. A must visit if you’re near the Rialto bridge area.
