Oh my gosh. I am so happy we found this place!! We wanted to stay in positano but couldn’t find any availability. We are SO glad we stayed here instead! Praiano is stunning and not packed like positano. The views at Casa Privata is insane and you have a private area by the sea on the cliff with access to the water. All the staff is so helpful. Out of all of our requests not a single staff member said “no” once! Everything we asked for, they accommodated! The food was better than any of the restaurants we went to. Coffee and breakfast was amazing. The pool is quaint & clean. The garden is peaceful. Massages in the breeze were so great after a day spent on Capri! We will only being coming here when we visit the amalfi coast! Stunning!!!!!

WARNING! While this is a beautiful property the owner and people running it will do everything in their power to steal as much money from you as possible. My wife and I held our wedding at this venue over 3 days and it was very unorganized, which we were able to react to, however when it came time to settle the bill the owner disappeared and left her husband (who pretended not speak any English) to settle up. He did everything in his power to steal thousands of dollars from us. He said we could resolve the dispute when his wife was available in a few weeks but they have yet to refund us a single dollar, even when we showed them clear double charges! I would not recommend booking this venue to anyone.

We got married at Ca' P'a in July 2023 and it was a wonderful experience. We could not have asked for a more special few days in Praiano with family and friends. The staff was extremely accommodating, kind, and above all just lovely people to be around.We worked with Rosa and Giuseppe throughout the planning process - exchanging a lot of emails and connecting on Facetime a few times and everything went extremely smoothly for all three of our events (welcome dinner, wedding, and day after pool party). Planning a wedding overseas is a bit overwhelming, but Rosa read every email, remembered every detail, and was extremely patient/helpful when we'd change our minds, etc.In all honesty, some of the reviews I read worried me at times but I have to say that was absolutely just not my experience with Rosa and the Ca' P'a team - everyone and everything was exceptional. Each event was better than the last and designed so beautifully.Also, the property is absolutely stunning. The rooms are extremely well kept and the interiors are designed to perfection. Waking up there each day during our stay felt like a dream. Our family and friends really enjoyed the pool and beach access. We spent the majority of the time jumping off the rocks into the sea.Lastly, the food was delicious - no matter if it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner - you could always count on incredible dishes. Our guests continue to rave about our wedding meal.Overall, our time at Ca' P'a was truly one in a million, and we will return any chance we get. We could not have picked a better place to get married and would recommend it to anyone considering it.To Rosa, Giuseppe, and the Ca' P'a team, thank you for giving us the most incredible memory. Dealing with Rosa, the owner of the hotel, is a very draining experience. Once she had our deposit the communication stopped for good and we then saw her nasty side when war ruined our plans.Avoid this terrible venue at all costs as She’ll lie to you, she’ll ignore emails for weeks and then attack you personally. Do your due diligence before you book a wedding here do not ruin your memories. We had to cancel our wedding as our family are in Ukraine and can’t leave due to the war. We asked Rosa if we could use our £11k deposit to holiday at the venue at a later date rather than lose it given the incredible circumstances. We asked this politely via email. We waited 5 weeks for her to respond and after multiple follow up emails then the response came. We were attacked because my wife is Ukrainian and Rosa thought it was inappropriate for us to be going on holiday or thinking about a holiday later this year due to the war. She said our holiday ambitions concerned . Refusing to let us use our deposit at a later date she then demanded full payment for the wedding and offered us a 3 night stay in return for these funds. She claims to need to funds due to costs incurred during Covid. She then lied about offering us a refund in February, an offer we never received and went on a rant about giving our wedding funds to a Ukrainian charity had we not planned to write this review. She continues to attack my wife saying that she doesn’t believe she is actually Ukrainian because a Ukrainian isn’t allowed to think about fun or holidays this year even if their wedding has been cancelled. We are blown away by her personal attacks and could not imagine celebrating our special day anywhere near this horror show of a business. To this date our deposit is gone, she continues to lie to us and we look forward to the legal action she threatens due to me writing this review. We will follow this through and will not forgive what she has said about my wife and her nationality.

This review is a warning to anyone booking Casa Privata for their wedding. I echo earlier posts to NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE. We got married here September 2022. The whole wedding planning process with Rosa was extremely stressful due to lack of communication and responses once we had sent initial wire transfers. Leading up to our wedding and all of our guests flying out to Italy from Canada, I tried to get ahold of Rosa repeatedly for A MONTH WITH NO RESPONSE. As you can imagine this led to a lot of sleepless nights.Rosa encourages you to pay for everything over wire transfer or cash payments so they can skim off the top from the vendors. After our wedding our credits cards were charged tens of thousands of dollars by the villa manager for items that we had already wired Rosa money for and extra/false charges. We have emailed both Rosa and the villa manager regarding this for months with no action or response from Rosa.In addition, Rosa was barely present during our stay to assist in wedding activities and a lot of manipulative techniques were employed during the three days of events with the purpose of trying to cash in more. I could go on, but I won't because I'm sure way more negative reviews from this wedding season are on their way.

Casa Privata was the worst decision of our trip. It is overpriced and fails to deliver anything that’s remotely worth the astronomical price they charge. The only nice thing about Ca Pa is the property itself which is lovely designed and well located.The pool is dirty and looks more like a swamp, the restaurant food is mid at best and of course overpriced, staff is inexperienced and at times it’s impossible to receive service/response from anyone at the hotel. The service in general is truly very low quality. There is a clear lack of management, and the worst part was one of the managers blamed another (very young and sweet) employee for the place’s mismanagement instead of taking responsibility.It’s a shame because the place has so much potential.My honest advice is - don’t spend your money coming here because you’ll be sorely disappointed.

After our experience at Casa Privata a month ago, I feel like it is my duty to inform travelers of what really goes on here. Not sure how they have the other good reviews, bc our experience was that we were all completely scammed out of thousands of dollars. The scams by the owner to get thousands out of us were so well thought-out that it has to have been going on for a while now. We came here for a special family/friends event. Here are examples of just some of the things that transpired.-There were multiple charges added to everyone bill in Italian, when we checked out that no one could understand. Conveniently, the office was only open" 20 min before we all had to check out and the owner "went out of town" so we couldn't inquire as to why we all had all these mysterious charges that added up to thousands. we were told we had to pay before we could leave but the owner would settle it with us when she was "back in town". Nope
