My friend and I stumbled upon Maria's shop at the beginning of October, and we both ended up making purchases. I adore my little cream and sugar set, and I've loved using it for entertaining since my return to Canada. I would highly recommend a visit to this shop. Maria makes everything herself, and you can see her little setup inside her shop with her kiln.

Maria Giovanna makes lovely hand painted ceramics. She will also do custom orders. She gave us a tour of her shop where she paints smaller pieces, fires them, and displays the finished items for sale. My friend custom ordered some pieces and Maria Giovanna was so patient and creative - making suggestions and painting items as examples while we watched to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. It was a lovely experience meeting her, and we will fondly remember our trip to Italy and our visit with this lovely artist and ceramicist every time we use one of her pieces on our table!

Beautiful little shop of treasures and the owner / artist is such a delight! Gorgeous designs, great selection, and so many practical pieces that I will use for years. Truly a special experience shopping here and I cannot wait for everyone to ask about my plates. Love love love this shop and will be back every time I’m in Florence.

E' una piccola bottega artigiana posta nel pieno centro di Firenze in attività da quasi 30 anni. Maria Giovanna, la titolare, è una persona ultra dinamica, estroversa e simpaticissima, oltre ad essere un' artista di gran classe nella produzione e decorazione di ceramiche artistiche. Se vi troverete a Firenze e volete acquistare un ricordo non turistico non potete mancare di farle una visita.

Came by the store in Florence when it was closed and didn't have time to come back as I was leaving the same day. Luckily, I was able to order online through Facebook and have 2 vases shipped to The Netherlands. Online service is great, very helpful with ordering and tracking shipment. The vases I received are of great quality and exactly what I hoped for. Would recommend to anyone looking for authenthic and unique ceramics.

Great products to make your table beautiful.Designs painted by the artist with real Florentine passages, and colorful flowers. She is there walking you through her creations. She can also ship oversees. Wonderful experience to take back home to remind you of beautiful Tuscany.
