The staff was very nice and good. Trying to satisfy a lot of people around. The starters were served very quickly. No problem at all. I expecting a bit more from frutti di mare and pizza diavolo - more salami could be there. We were there twice during our stay (rating between 3-4), but given to friendly staff 4.

Pizza was not bad after all. It is slightly more expensive comparing to other places around here (1 pizza, 0.5l of vino della casa, water, 2 coffees -50euro). Waitress was looking like she worked here as punishment and I think it was the worst part.

I recommend avoiding. We went as a group of three young tourists and immediately rudely approached. That and the handful of bad reviews should’ve been our first sign to leave, however we were hungry and we were pressured to sit down. Instead of focusing on good service of existing customers they were prioritising bringing more in by folding out cheap tables. As a result we were waiting a really long time for our order to be taken. When the waitress did finally come around she was chewing gum at our table and being cold and dismissive, as she wasn’t listening to what we were saying and almost got our order wrong. There was definitely a problem with communication between the waiters as another waitress tried taking our order a few minutes later. None of the staff was accommodating as nobody was informed about the cash only policy. This is to avoid taxes as there was a perfectly working card machine in case you didn’t have enough but you were still forced to withdraw money from the atm nearby. Other tables around us were also very unhappy about this. Food was alright but you can find much better with better service I don't recommend.

Worst pizza in entire Italy or even in world. Frozen, super hard crust and tasted like mud. Pasta was horrible as well. Charged extra 5 euro for 2 person and 5 euro for a 500/750 ml bottle of water. I was in italy for 10 days, ate all my meals in restaurants and I can certainly say that this restaurant doesn’t belong in a magnificent place like menaggio.

Don’t normally leave bad reviews but waited 50 minutes for a take away pizza. Asked about it twice and very rude each time. People dining in had orders in less than 15 min. Asked for our money back and had it literally thrown at us.

Pro’s: food was OK at best. Location was amazing, in front of the sea.Cons: service was slot and unfriendly. The waitress saw we were foreign and was not pleasant. With others who were clearly locals, she was much friendly. Price was ridiculous for what you got. We are still looking for the Chillie in the Chilli and garlic pasta, very bland. Margherita was basic.

Majorly overpriced, you can’t pay with cash (they say it doesn’t work, but I bet it doesn’t “work”), tables are like 10cm apart from each other, there are 20 people looking at you for when your done eating, to take your place. I saw the bad reviews, but mistook the restaurant, so we still ended up there. All the bad reviews are true. The only good thing is the location… We payed a total of €70,- for a shared starter of bruschetta, two salads as a main, soms water and two glasses of wine. The don’t give printed receipts, they just make them up and write them down to accord to their price.

We hoped to enjoy some nice pizza in beautiful Menaggio but it was the farthest from authentic italian pizza. The food seem to be made with a frozen pizza base and the cheese tasted like plastic. Nothing you cannot buy at a grocery store. They were nice, but the food really was disappointing.

I visited this pizza place in Menaggio, hoping to enjoy some delicious, authentic Italian pizza. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but enjoyable. The food was so bad that I felt compelled to leave a very long Google Maps review to warn others.First and foremost, the pizza was not fresh. In fact, it was a heated frozen pizza that wasn't even well heated. The crust was soggy and the toppings were bland and unappetizing. It was clear that no effort had been made to make the pizza fresh or to give it any flavor.To make matters worse, the prices were exorbitant. For such a terrible meal, I felt like I had been ripped off. And on top of that, there was a service fee of 3 euros per person, which is extremely high for a pizza place. I couldn't believe that they would charge so much for such a poor experience.Another thing that really bothered me about this pizza place was that they only accept cash. In this day and age, it's unacceptable for a business to not accept credit cards or other forms of payment. Especially in a touristic area like Menaggio, where many visitors may not have access to cash, it's extremely inconvenient.Overall, I would not recommend this pizza place to anyone. The food is terrible, the prices are too high, and the service fee is outrageous. Save yourself the trouble and find another restaurant in Menaggio to enjoy a delicious pizza.

Don't waste your money on this place.First of all, the pizza was quite bad. Way too much cheese and nothing like a really Italian pizza at all.Secondly, they ask 3 euro per person for the 'service'. Which is not that amazing at all. For us that was 22% of the entire bill. Outrageous.The pasta is okay, but nothing special there.The drinks cost 5 euro and that was just a regular soda. Better get your own soda or water.
