Venice Cooking Class

We had the most wonderful morning/afternoon of cooking and learning with Chef! We picked ingredients fresh from the markets, and his knowledge is top tier. This is an absolute MUST for a Venice activity. The dish choices were tailored to our favorites and were friendly to dietary restrictions. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect culinary experience!

We had a great experience with Chef Michele. He warmly welcomed us into his home in a really cool historic building. Both beautiful and comfortable, his home is also fully equipped with everything that is needed for a first class cooking experience. Chef Michele had gone to the market earlier in the day to buy fresh ingredients. Once we arrived, everything was ready to go. My 12 year old son jumped right in to learn about and participate in the prep work. My husband and I stood close by and listened to a very easy to understand, yet detailed, account of what we were doing, why we were doing it and some nutritional information, as well. When it was all done, we ate our delicious meal, and drank some wine! It was a great way to pass an afternoon in Venice. I highly recommend Chef Michele!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I could never get my pasta right. Chef Michele helped me figure out why! He is an easygoing teacher who explains the science and techniques for making outstanding food. Spending the morning at the market and preparing it for lunch was the best food in Venice. Your experience will be outstanding!

My husband and I opted for the traditional venetian meal with a tour of the Rialto market. We were extremely impressed with his knowledge and hospitality. Chef Michele made us feel welcome from the beginning. My husband and I cook at home almost every day but still we learned recipes and techniques that we are excited to do at home. Although we had many good meals in Venice, nothing quite compared to this meal in both the quality and sense of accomplishment you received from having cooked the meal yourself. I will be recommending this to family and friends for sure!

An outstanding experience which topped our trip to Venice. Michele was just superb, welcoming you to his home and balancing cooking, learning and tasting the best Venetian food around. We couldn’t recommend this more!

This was an AWESOME experience, and maybe the highlight of our Greece/Italy trip. Michele was great, engaging all 5 of us in cooking a typical Venician meal, even though (due to itinerary changes outside of our control) we had less time than we hoped. I would recommend this 100%.

Such an incredibly special experience for our family. Chef Michele is very knowledgeable and gives amazing instruction on technique while providing a warm and fun atmosphere. Chef Michele is amazing with kids and our 7 and 9 year old girls had the best time hand making pasta. He paid such good attention to our palate and selected the perfect dishes for us to make and eat. We all we full and smiling at the end of the day. Highly recommend!

My husband & I booked a pasta making class with Chef Michele and it was the highlight of our trip to Venice. We started at the market to choose the freshest produce available. We proceeded to Chef Michele’s magnificent light filled home. His kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything to make pasta, pizza, gelato & more. Chef Michele is an excellent instructor. We got to enjoy the pasta and gelato that we made, accompanied by a fine wine.If you love to cook, this experience is a must. If you don’t love to cook, have Chef Michele prepare a meal for you.So happy that we got to experience the area of Venice where the locals live and to explore part of the city that we wouldn’t have found on own.Chef Michele is the consummate host.

Michele ci ha fatto vivere un’esperienza unica: spesa al famoso mercato di Rialto e lezione di cucina nel suo nobile appartamento. Pasta fatta a mano, carciofi, fegato di vitello alla veneziana, polenta bianca. Lo dico da italiano: imperdibile!
