Hyatt Centric Murano Venice
The hotel shouldn't offer complimentary shuttle service if they can't execute on it. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because it offers round trip airport shuttle service by boat. We specifically requested return service at check in for three days later and were told not to worry about it and that it could be taken care of later. We then inquired later" (two days later) and were told it was fully booked. We asked for an earlier time and were told the shuttle was not running before 10 AM. We ultimately inquired with the front desk manager who now says that the shuttle is actually running at the earlier times but that those are also fully booked (not sure why we were getting a different story from her employee). I recognize that they don't differentiate for Hyatt Globalists or for those paying for premium rooms (Riva Suite)

What a wonderful experience! This was my first time visiting Venice and this hotel made the trip more memorable. The staff picked us up from the airport complimentary and took us right in front of the hotel. Check in was smooth, and we were able to drop off our bags before our check in time. The front desk staff was friendly, accommodating and helped us navigate around the area. We needed to stay an extra night at the last minute and the staff were quick to help. The rooms were well kept (my photo is after I took a quick nap upon arrival), air conditioned, with comfortable beds. The balcony door opens without a screen, which I liked. They have a lovely patio area shown in the first photo. The location is perfect for the island of Murano, as well as to access the main island of Venice via ferry taxi. The restaurants within the hotel had great food and the breakfast buffet is the best morning option on the island. The only issue I faced was that we were given a bathroom with a tall bathtub that was difficult to enter and exit, as well as very slippery. My husband did slip in the shower once during our stay but other than that, no issues. Thank you again for a great stay!

The Hyatt Centric is a stunning hotel. From the moment you enter there is an impressive chandelier designed after an octopus. The decor is Sea themed" but very elegant and beautiful. 4 stars because on the evening I arrived there was a pungent smell permeating throughout the hotel. ( As if something moldy in the A.C) It seemed to clear up by morning.The staff was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable

Our most disappointing Hyatt experience. We stayed in a 2 level suite for two nights in spring. Our room was located on the second level with the bed in a lofted area. It was incredibly warm at night. We were told that there’s no A/C and that we should leave our window open. With no screen we woke up covered in mosquito bites. The second night I asked for a fan and they acted like this was the first time anyone had asked. Really? A 4 star hotel and we’re supposedly crazy for asking for a fan because there’s no central AC?!The staff was less than helpful in other situations. We had to book the fitness room so they asked for a specific time. We decided on 7:30, showed up to the fitness center and our key cards didn’t work. Went downstairs and then they activated them, but no apology. In each situation, they didn’t seem at all bothered that we were inconvenienced.On our last morning, we went to catch a private water taxi to the airport. We were informed that he would be waiting outside. The bellman then proceeded to take our luggage to the main dock and attempted to load it on the next public ferry boat. I stopped him explaining that we had a private taxi and he insisted until our taxi driver himself yelled at him to stop.I also wouldn’t recommend staying on Murano. It’s much further removed than they make it sound. And you can cover the whole island in about a hour.

This place is not recommended. The rooms were hot and the air conditioner appears not to be working. Informed front desk and they were not much help. With a brand like Hyatt, I would think Hyatt would expect higher standards for their affiliated partners. I would NOT RECOMMEND this hotel anybody.

I am very disappointed of the service of this hotel. I booked 2 junior suit rooms with canal view today and found out the air condition never work since I checked in this evening. When I told to the staff about this issue this afternoon, they tend to ignored my feedback and said it’s maybe my operational problem. And emphasized their system is different with normal air condition, they have very advanced “cooling system” and should take more time to cool down the room. Actually, after stayed at my room for 1.5 hour, the temperature never go down but go up from 25 to 26 degree Celsius.When I come back in the middle night, I found out the air condition still doesn’t work. I told a man in front desk, he said he will send a guy to my room to help. After few minutes, a guy came to my room and said as he know the entire hotel’s air condition has shut down and “maybe” will be fix tomorrow, many guests were complaining about air condition problem.I Don’t know why the staff hide this issue and never take action when I raise the problem. How come I spent 440 Euro per night but get this awful service.

We stayed here for 2 days and overall had a wonderful time.We were originally in a King Deluxe which felt bigger than it was due to the layout of the room. There were a lot of neat space management techniques used to allow for a lot of storage near the entry. We were able to fit a 28in spinner and 2 carry on spinners with ease while still being able to hang our coats. The shower in the bathroom was MASSIVE. Also grateful that they have a solid door instead of the frosted glass doors that are becoming more common.We did have an issue with noise during the second night due to some kind of event happening at the bar below but they were kind enough to transfer us to a different room.In the second room the decor was very similar and the same space management techniques made it feel massive and super comfortable.The property itself is very nice and worth touring around. They have a sitting area on the second floor and art pieces placed throughout. The water bus stops right in front of the hotel and there are multiple lines that come by often which makes it easy to get around. In fact we had to be up early to catch a train and caught the water bus at 5:45am.When we visit Venice again we will definitely be staying here.

Hyatt Centric Murano Venice
Visited with family recently on a two week vacation through Italy -- Venice being our second destination. We were so happy with the hospitality at this hotel. We cannot say enough about Stan. Stan was attentive, intuitive, responsive, polite and friendly. He truly knew how to make us fell like royalty. We'll definitely visit again. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

So for location, Murano is a sleepy island. HST, you get what you picked. The town closes for business around 5:30 or 6:00; don't expect much after that. The restaurant stays open late which helps a lot for the tourists who may want to eat later.The room is cozy. It gets really crowded for travelers with 2 mid size pieces of luggage. The hidden closet doesn't even accommodate a carry-on rollover bag. However, the bathroom is modern and the shower has good water pressure. I'll have to say however, even though the AC is supposed to be running, it didn't feel like it was doing it job.The service is nice. Very friendly personnel with professional attire.

Amazing location, great staff, and excellent rooms. We will definitely be returning! One thing to note; the restaurant was not quite as impressive as the price. We enjoyed the Hyatt breakfast but we found dinner at local eateries on Murano much more satisfying than the hotel restaurant. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much and will be returning!
