My family recently had dinner at this absolutely marvelous restaurant. The service, food, appearance and atmosphere far surpass any dinner I have had in my 64 years. The attention to every detail needed to make our experience special was evident. If ever in Naples again, I would love to go back to this treasure.

Ottima cucina, ma il rapporto qualità prezzo, a confronto con altri ristoranti stellati di Napoli e della Campania, è totalmente sbilanciato. Conto da ristorante tristellato con sala e cucina che sono ancora in fase di rodaggio. Merita comunque l'eccellenza perché è una grande tavola in una bella struttura, con un servizio attento.

Sinceramente non capisco alcune recensioni negative! Una stella Michelin super meritata per un menù degustazione (evoluzione) di alto livello in un ambiente extra extra lusso. Ottimo il servizio, originale il pre dessert (grattachecca), superlativo lo spaghetto “mima tartufo”. Un poco estremi (come gusto) il coniglio all’ischitana e l’uovo in purgatorio. Occhio al prezzo…quasi da due stelle Michelin…ma in quel contesto, ci sta.

Took a party of five, and everyone agreed it was one of the best meals of their lives. We got the seven course tasting menu, and the food was exquisite. The menu was very creative and unique and the service was the best I have ever received at any meal, including other Michelin starred restaurants.

The food was presented well, but tasted only average, nothing special. The staff was at least timely but mostly very rude and very, very unwelcoming (Alfredo was very kind though). It was a very poor experience despite a very high price tag. I’m not sure I’ve ever taken the time to write a bad review in my life but I truly do not recommend this restaurant.

Avete mai visto il paradiso?Cena sublime, dall'inizio alla fine. Il comandante, situato al 9 piano dell'hotel Romeo ci ha affascinati in ogni sua parte. La vista sul golfo è mozzafiato e le luci del tramonto rendono l'atmosfera romantica e avvolgente. Veniamo alla cena: il maitre Alfredo, con la sua gentilezza e professionalità ci ha guidati in un percorso di gusto sopraffino, il menù evoluzione, 7 portate per 170 euro, è stato un'altalena di emozioni. Il pomodoro nella sua semplicità mi ha ricordato le visite dalla nonna in campagna, bei tempi andati. Il coniglio all'ischitana è stato sublime, lo stesso per gli spaghetti. Che dire dei dolci? Buongiornooooo! Una rivisitazione della zuppa di latte napoletana, eccezionale. Speciali anche i pasticcini di fine pasto completamente riconducibili ai classici partenopei. Infine il miracolo di San Gennaro è avvenuto. Per i vini il consiglio è di affidarsi alla professionalità del sommelier Giovanni che riuscirà a consigliarvi al meglio a seconda del vostro percorso. Che dire? Lo chef Salvatore Bianco è riuscito, attraverso l'antipurgatorio, a indicarci la strada per il paradiso.

Posso dire solo Grazie ho trascorso un compleanno da favola.Un posto fuori dal mondo, dove c’è pace e tranquillità. Il maître Alfredo ci ha consigliato il menu 7 portate Evoluzione. Un complimenti allo chef Bianco per le portate il pomodoro e mangiamaccheroni. Un grazie al sommelier Giovanni per averci consigliato una buona bottiglia di vino. Ed infine ho ricevuto uno splendido regalo una deliziosa tortina.Un grazie a tutto lo staff di sala.

Wow, simply wow! The staff was amazingly nice and helpful. The food was really tasty, very creative and also pleasing to the eye. (Plus, they give out quite a lot of free snacks). The view was stunning.Everything was just so unbelievably wonderful!Our whole experience at this restaurant was memorable and I can only recommend anyone who visits Naples to eat here.By the way we couldn’t make it to the reservation date and the nice staff simply rescheduled to another date for us. We were really happy with how understanding she responded.

Pros:Wonderful staff. Very attentive. The focaccia was really really good. We were impressed by the spread they laid out for appetizer and dessert.Cons:I’m sure this place is someone’s cup of tea (I’ve seen the glowing reviews), but we are not those people. The food seemed inventive and honestly, a bit strange, just for the sake of it, or to see how “out of the box” they could go. We’ve had Michelin-starred food for much less $ and much better taste. My husband and I were given 2 different menus - while mine was personalized to remove my allergies (thoughtful touch!), mine also did not have prices included, only his did, which we didn’t appreciate. Perhaps this isn’t rare, but we’ve never seen it done, even at high-end restaurants. I also must mention - this place was truly ridiculously expensive. The wine was in the ballpark of 40 euros per glass at minimum.All in all, we would not return even for a free meal. Maybe we just have some simple tastes, but if you’re like us, you’ve been warned.

A 5 star review to a restaurant that was reviewed by the top reviewers. Great experience transcending the food and providing a harmony and integrity of the Napolitano experience. Great dishes made to perfection and with flair and individual point of view. Service is impeccable and while very traditional its also friendly and attentive. Great views of the port and the bay of Napoli add to a one unforgettable experience.
