We chose Elena as our wedding photographer because we liked how artistic her work was. That means nothing when you never get to see the work you paid her for and you lose your memories from your wedding. Elena lost footage, took almost a year to send us our photos and never actually fully finished our wedding video. We have pleaded with her many times to give us the footage that she claims is corrupt and she is unresponsive. No apology. No refund for missing footage. Nothing. We would recommend staying away from Elena as your photographer so that a year and a half after your wedding you don't find yourself writing a negative review on Google. Our biggest regret of our wedding was choosing Elena as our photographer and we wish that she would at least respond to us and make this right.

Caution – Buyer Beware! We hired Elena and her associate to photograph & video our wedding & rehearsal dinner. She was responsive leading up to the wedding, and we chose her over other recommendations (which we regret), but once we made final payment it was impossible to get her to acknowledge our existence. After she failed to deliver on multiple deadlines that she promised, we finally got our wedding photos 5 months after our wedding. We then had to chase & beg her for our wedding video, which we received 9 months after our wedding. 9 months! And without any explanation and while she was on lavish vacations. When we finally got the wedding video, she misspelled the bride’s name, didn’t include a trailer (as agreed and we ultimately had to pay someone else to do), and lost footage for the entire welcome & rehearsal dinner night. She charged us extra hours for this work weeks after, even though we didn’t approve those extra hours ahead of time, but nevertheless we agreed and paid in full. Yet, this footage is lost forever, with speeches from our closest family and friends – cherished memories we can never get back and it is absolutely devastating to us. Then the wedding night, a great deal of footage not captured as well – but of course, we paid for all of this. Not only are we robbed of this footage, but to add insult to injury, no explanation was provided, nor any apology of any kind, nor any refund. Unbelievable. We were forced to pay to get footage of any kind, but in the end half of it was lost and no refund or even apology was provided. To this date, after many attempts, we cannot get Elena to respond to a text, email, or call. All we’ve asked is to get the raw video footage that she claims has been corrupted, but she won’t respond – because there is no corrupted footage. We suspect she taped over it or simply lost it. She is incredibly unprofessional and we are beyond upset with how all of this went down. We strongly advise against using Elena for photography and videography services of any kind. She is dishonest, disorganized, and unreliable.
