It was one of those place with secluded location but many people come. If you dont use a car or rent a private vehicle it almost hard to come to this place. Its almost 2 km from the last asphalt road then when I went there, there some renovation on the retaurant so you cant park in restaurant area but in in the last intersection before you get to the place.The staff was very friendly man. Altough he speak not so fluent english but he will understand you well.The food also nice but too bad I was arrive a little bit late after the restaurant closed. But most of all they have superb view, beside the restaurant, there is a chapel which many people get there just to take a photo.Grazie mille!

Per raggiungere Ristoro Vitaleta è necessaria una piccolissima passeggiata su una stradina circondata dai meravigliosi campi della Val d'Orcia.Il Ristoro ha una stupenda veranda con un panorama mozzafiato sulle colline ed inoltre è un luogo dove si può godere di pace, tranquillità e dove ci si può rilassare godendosi un buon pranzo, un aperitivo o una cena.Personalmente abbiamo provato un aperitivo e preso dei cocktail ed era tutto fantastico.Tutto ovviamente guarnito dalla gentilezza ed accoglienza del personale!Non vedo l'ora di tornare!

Magic place, our favorite spot in Tuscany. The excellent food, perfect wine, great service and friendliness of the staff and owner and really reasonable prices. This place is heaven on earth.

A beautiful restaurant in the most scenic sorroundings. Perfect mainly for sunsets and dinners. Fresh ingredients from local farms, friendly and attentive staff and impecable view. The food was also incredible. Hands down one of the best burratas I've ever had. 10/10

I liked the place for its unique style, simple and exquisite tastes at the same time. A peaceful surroundings of Val d’Orcia, great for everyone seeking peace and unique travel experience. I bet this place looks equally beautiful every time of the year.

We went eating for the first time at vitaleta last year and went 3 times this year during our holidays in Montalcino for dinner. This has become one of our favorite restaurants in the val d’ orcia. Fine ingredients, perfectly cooked dishes, spontaneous and professional service and a superb view. Besides Pondere Forte wines (and their gorgeous Bollicine Rosé) they extended now their wine list with Rosso, Brunello and vino nobile. Try their melanzane alla parmigiana followed by tagliata from chianina beef with rosemary while looking to the sunset. Simply “heaven on earth”. Perfect quality-price.
