Appartamento molto bello. Ben arredato, pulitissimo e con molti comfort. Posizione centrale, a pochi passi dal Duomo. I proprietari gentilissimi e disponibilissimi. Soggiorno perfetto!

A perfect apartment for our family of 4. A separate bedroom for our girls. Two full bathrooms, one of which had clearly been completely redone recently and was very modern and had a fantastic rain shower. Full kitchen. Espresso machine which we put to use. Very comfortable couch and living room space. Nice views of the town from the windows. It exceeded our expectations.However, the thing that we will keep from our stay at Appartamenti Forteguerriana is our experience with the host -- Daniele. He showed us where to park our car, which was just a 4-5 min walk from the apartment (having a dedicated parking space nearby was a critical parameter in our choice of Forteguerriana), he showed us around the house and was very welcoming. He also stopped by the next day to drop off a plug adaptor for us. But the most important thing was his response when we informed him that we had misplaced an external disk drive during our stay in Italy (the dangers of bringing your work with you when you're supposed to be on vacation!). He searched the apartment for us and contacted the cleaning lady and in the end the disk was located at the laundromat (the dangers of working in bed!). He then went to a lot of trouble to pick up the disk, go to the post office and mail the disk to us. What can I say. He definitely went out of his way for us, and we are grateful to him for that. I would give 6 stars if possible.We used Pistoia as a base to visit the nearby destinations of Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Siena and Florence (and there are so many others that will have to wait for next time). The town of Pistoia itself was a nice surprise and we enjoyed walking around the center, having a coffee and ate dinner there one evening (Fiaschetteria, highly recommend it).

The apartment is very nicely located in the centre of Pistoia and served well as a basis for trips to various cities in Toscany. It is close enough to enjoy the city but still enjoy the tranquility and relax. The apartment is very clean, has everything you could need and is beautifully furnished. The owners are great. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We would definitely recommend staying here!
