Absolutely appalling and traumatic experience:I arrived at the clinic with my 7 year old daughter who had sustained a leg injury while skiing. I was heavily pregnant. I was alone with my daughter as the clinic did not allow other family members in due to Covid. My daughter was in terrible pain. I wasn't told about prices, insurance cover or what treatment or investigatory options were available. Whenever I asked a question I was treated with disdain and the clinic suggested that I cared more about money than my daughter. As my daughter was in such pain, I agreed to an xray without seeing the price list. However, while she was in the xray room, because I couldn't be with her as I was pregnant, I took the opportunity to then ask for the price list. This was handed to me and I then immediately heard my daughter screaming. I was then told by the clinic that they had paused all treatment and investigation so I could look at the price list. My daughter was screaming so loudly and terribly and I was not with her. I told the clinic manager that by asking for the price list, I had not meant for them to stop the xray and that clearly this was a priority. The manager then whisked away the price list (before I had had the opportunity to look at it) and proceeded with the xray. The clinic then called me in to a room to consider the xray and told me in apparent shock that she had broken her leg, the break was absolutely terrible and she needed IMMEDIATE surgery. I was told that if I cared for my daughter she needed to be lifted by helicopter to their other clinic so that surgery could be performed immediately. Otherwise she would have long lasting injury. I was told that helicopter would take five minutes to the other clinic but that ambulance would take 45 minutes. I was warned not to delay. My daughter was then prepared for the helicopter. After about ten minutes of waiting, I was told that it would take about 45 minutes for the helicopter to arrive. I then queried why we had not taken the ambulance given that it was going to take us longer to arrive by helicopter. The clinic staff immediately became aggressive and in a sarcastic manner said 'oh what do you want, should we cancel the helicopter, do you not trust our judgement? what do you want? we don't understand?' I felt intimidated (again) and immediately confirmed that I did not want them to cancel the helicopter. Once we got to the other clinic we had to wait for approximately 4 hours for surgery. So there was no great urgency. We didn't even need an ambulance and could have arrived via taxi. A scam. The surgery was performed and pins were put into her leg to hold it in place. This was traumatic for both of us. We were told that a further operation would be needed in a few months to take the pins out of her legs. At no point at that clinic were we given any options as to treatments or told prices. We then flew back to the UK where we saw doctors for follow up treatment. We were told by countless doctors in the UK that the surgery was completely unnecessary; it is only advised where a bone is shattered or in a few other circumstances. Children that age heal fast, and all that should have happened was for the doctors to put the leg in a cast. The surgery that the clinic performed was unnecessary. My child is scarred because of them. She had an unnecessary and dangerous procedure because of hem. She has pins in her leg because of them.A few days later we received a bill for 15,000 euros. The bill is not itemised. It is just for a ludicrously round sum of 150000 euros. We believe that the clinic exaggerated the extent of her injury, pressured me and took advantage of me, a heavily pregnant woman alone with her child (with no access to internet or to family members), caused my child unnecessary trauma. I was given no other options as to treatment and was scammed into agreeing to surgery without seeing prices. I was then sent a bill for a ludicrous amount of money (the most expensive hospitals in London do not charge that amount for such treatment).

In 20 minutes I was registered, I was examined, had an X-ray of my hand, got a brace (don’t know the exact name for it) to secure my hand, received a written report and a CDROM with X-ray pictures that I can give to my doctor and insurance company. Very nice people, all very helpful and dedicated to helping me. I felt very safe in their hands. Before I went there I contacted my insurance company and they immediately send a Guarantee of Payment to the clinic, so there was no issue at all when I showed up shortly after.

Good service and normal prices for visits and X-rays, but €280 for an ankle brace which costs €75 is a scam. Ask them what you need and buy the braces as the pharmacy.
