There's ample parking space here, for a reasonable price. To get to the basilica, take the lift to the top and look out for the escalator, which will bring you to the foot of the basilica. However, the escalator only goes in one direction. Hence, you will need to walk all the way down. If there's a football match going on, you can also watch it from the carpark.
